That is it in the previous people's house. It has a double oven the top oven can be used as a convection oven or grill (broiler) and then main oven is a fan oven so I will have to get used to cooking things for shorter periods and on lower heat. I have used this type of oven before so should not be too much of a problem - Phil used to have one before he changed to gas.
It is replacing my old cooker which the hot plates are someone rusty and the grill (broiler) no longer works. So fingers crossed everything will go well tomorrow and I can cook :0)
Old cooker with a sticky note that dad put to mum that the grill was not to be used - have never tried to get it off and doubt now that it would come off.
I enquired how much a new element for the grill would be but that would be almost as much as a second hand unit so decided to go for the second hand unit. Hope I have made the right decision - tomorrow will tell.

That indeed is a leg of lamb my favorite roast. I love it with the hot crispy fat served with mint sauce and gravy. I also serve Yorkshire puddings with it.

Thanks it has a few bumps and scraps but overall is much better looking and should work much better than current one. Also hopefully the oven is much cleaner when mum was ill and we did not realise how bad the oven got in a state and I have tried everything to clean it and cannot. So unfortunately I had to look at replacing her.

It is my honor to bring to you the 41st President, a great dad, George H. W. Bush. Thanks for this very special Dose, Jonny. Wow--between that statement of GWB about his dad and this picture--that certainly brings me to tears.
GHWB really looks like he enjoyed himself! I have the video going as I type here. What an honor for an honorable man!
Thanks for your work, Jonny

Really was a such a surprise .. and so quick to answer, too. I'll try to check in a few days, and post here if it's fixed. I know right where the glitch is, after 20+ tries .. LOL.

Former Pres. Bush and former First Lady Barbara look like they're in good health and good spirits. Nice to see that. I was always very impressed by Barbara Bush - straight spoken, but always a lady.

"Rig for dive" ... sheesh
How technically accurate are these smileys supposed to be anyway? :-D

Bush had a perfect opening to mention the 435th anniversary of the victory at Lepanto.Well that was certainly at the forefront of my mind.
