I suspect that Jesus wouldn't choose a party.

I concur. He would be a leader of His own party. =)

I suspect that Jesus wouldn't choose a party. He would be an independent, but love both sides the same. ;)

Thank you. Exactly.
The Lord Jesus Christ would have something to say to both parties and neither would be happy with what He has to say to them. BOTH parties would be yelling "Crucify Him!"

I suspect that Jesus wouldn't choose a party.Amen. To quote Mr. Lincoln, "Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right."

He might not chose a party, but I seriously doubt he'd express much sympathy toward those who argue that we can all improve our lives by slaughtering the innocent.
Something about that idea just doesn't mesh with Christianity you know.

I agree. Jesus wouldn't be in either party. I know he wouldn't approve of gay rights, abortion, etc., but I also think he would have something to say about the Pharisees in the Republican party. (ducking in anticipation of hits).

What the author claims for his party, defense of the poor, is no longer a platform of the DimoRAT party.
