I agree. Jesus wouldn't be in either party. I know he wouldn't approve of gay rights, abortion, etc., but I also think he would have something to say about the Pharisees in the Republican party. (ducking in anticipation of hits).

I agree with you, I would love to know the answer to the original question, but I doubt that in the presence of Jesus, I would ask it.

If any one in the presence of Jesus could actually get the question out, Jesus would probably turn it into another lesson into how we need to get closer to God.

Politics is so important to me, but I think that Jesus thinks in terms that don't even recognize my millennium in any sense that I could relate to, much less the difference between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.
