Lately, England has IMO been standing firmer than the U.S....or at least the U.K. has had to face a more vocal muslim community.

For example, John Reid has done an outstanding job when viewed from this side of the pond.

The only bad news was that issue of the muslim policemen being moved because he refused to protect the Israel Embassy (that was a small deal and will, I hope, be reversed shortly instead of setting a precedent).

The Brits have a long history of being great warriors. This proclivity may seem to have become dormant with the onslaught of socialism gripping their country, but I doubt that it really is.

The moosie cop should have been canned, not mollified.

While even some conservatives no longer support the war in Iraq against the terrorists, I do, and I maintain it was a brilliant stroke to draw many of them and their new militants into one general location instead of appealing to or paying fair-weather friends and reluctant supporters to clean them out of their countries. I couldn't care less is Saddass's WMDs were modern or not or present in large numbers - Iraq was the best place to stage this.
