After years of dithering over political correctness with Muslims and Islam, Europe is waking up to a different morning.
A three-week tour of Italy, France, and Britain last month was enough for me to conclude that Western Europeans have moved way beyond dialogue. Confrontation, indeed even provocation, is their preferred approach to the Muslims in their midst.

We should also begin seeding the water supplies with birth control hormones. The Muslims would see the lack of children, as a curse. Use any and all methods to destroy their faith.
Then there's the issue of French nuclear subs. Their Rubiss-class subs can go 30 years without refueling. I wouldn't want the moosies to get their hands on those, although it's kind of comical to picture a bunch of ragheads aboard a sub trying to figure the thing out - kind of brings that Chinese fire-drill picture to mind.
I have been talking about the European awaking for several years, and I can tell you that all signs are pointing to that it is happening more and more.
Just follow the British media. It has changed rather dramatically during the last couple of years. In Norway, a documentary showing the dreaded Mohammed cartoons was just shown to popular acclaim. The documentary attacked muslim fundamentalists, cowardly Norwegian politicians.
The awakening in Europe has increased in pace and in magnitude.
I just pray it is not too late.
I think they should go back to the sh*holes they came from if they are unhappy and troublemakers in the West.
Just in the last three days, we have heard of: a) Islamic youth rioting in Britain, with the media too cowardly to refer to them as Muslims (see today's LGF blog) b) The London Police agreed to let Muslims refuse to guard the Israeli Embassy -- we wouldn't want to defend the lowly Joooos now, would we? c) A Taxi company in Britain supporting Muslims cab drivers in refusing to give rides to BLIND people with seeing eye dogs.
All you have to do is read British & European blogs that tell it like it REALLY is over there - Melanie Phillips, EUReferendum, Stephen Pollard, Brussels Journal - to know that even at 3% Muslim, the UK is already a dhimmi state.
Thats the irony so far in Europe. That most of the vocal defenders of Western Civ. are immigrants, many of them from muslim backgrounds.
They can say things, due to the PC monster, that no ethnic European politican can say.
The new immigration minister in Sweden is a decidely un-PC woman from Burundi.

The Brits have a long history of being great warriors. This proclivity may seem to have become dormant with the onslaught of socialism gripping their country, but I doubt that it really is.

While even some conservatives no longer support the war in Iraq against the terrorists, I do, and I maintain it was a brilliant stroke to draw many of them and their new militants into one general location instead of appealing to or paying fair-weather friends and reluctant supporters to clean them out of their countries. I couldn't care less is Saddass's WMDs were modern or not or present in large numbers - Iraq was the best place to stage this.
Sure, Europe is capable of at least one more ethnic cleansing -- they will make sure that in the next 10-15 years that they will finish Hitler's work and totally cleanse the Jews from Europe. That's why they do nothing now as Jews get beaten, shot and stabbed, and their synagogues burned.
But cleanse Muslims? Never. Muslims serve a useful purpose to the Europeans -- getting rid of the Jews.

You're right, and I too know this from personal experience.
The danger of course, is that our immigration systems are unable to discriminate between "moderate" muslims and their more fundamentalist co-religiionists. And of course, even if they are moderate, it seems to be the nature of their religion that their children will be ripe for recruitment to more radical and fundamentalist causes.
However, while I don't know about Europe, I don't see any chance of Canada's immigration system banning immigration by muslims or from any other place that gives us unassimilable immigrants anytime soon.
Europe is no longer dithering. Every other week, parliaments are restricting the freedom of expression of Muslim fundamentalists, preachers, and madrassas, and questioning every value that militant Islam has attempted to sneak into the Continent over the past 20 years.
It sure took a while. Maybe they need one big bombing instead a few small ones to really wake them up.
We have come to understand that that things learned from the lefty press are quite different than the truth.

Just get ready to headlines in a few years when the Progress party (my party btw.) wins the elections in Norway, which many analysts now thinks will happen.

The truth is that the Progress party which is (and has always been) the major defender of Israel and jews, supporter of the American alliance, and pro Western Civ. with its judeo-christian heritage is IMHO the least fascists party in Norway. They are historically free market libertarians, however with an emphasis on law and order.
Then again, in 2009, even the Guardian might very well welcome their victory.

Well, there's a big difference of course between European Jews and gypsies who were no threat to their societies, and muslim immigrants, and in particular our pandering to their intolerance and unreasonable demands, who do threaten the nature of our societies. In particular, Hitler whipped up existing Jew-hatred for his own particular ends, while the rising anti-muslim sentiment is a grass-roots movement, in opposition to the political correctness and pandering of the elites.
