I still want to know why Istook hired the San Diego folks who are way too young and inexperienced to run a Governor's campaign.

I think the former page is just in a financial clerk type position (low level) - ie a kid trying to work his way into politics from the ground up. The other guy with the UMich issue (Chip Englander) is the campaign manager click here for details. I'm not sure about the logic in hiring him...

He is the Deputy Campaign Manager for finances and friend of a fellow San Diego person who is about the same age and Campaign Manager. They came in as a team.
