I still think Hasert should resign. Whether this was a prank or not, Foley still responded in a pedophile manner. In addition the overtly friendly e-mails were brought to Haserts attention and he did not investigate this more closely. They also hid some information from the page oversight committee and tried to handle this on their own. That is why I think Hasert should resign. He should have been all over this and maybe some of this other crap would have come out.

Good for you.
Your opinion is well shared out there.
The Clintonoids, the MSM (ABC), and the Dems share your opinion Hastert should resign. After all, it would help them takeover the House.
Too damn bad WE DON'T share the same opinion that a Dem House is a good thing!

You must really want to see Pelosi as our next Speaker.
Your calls for Hastert's resignation are disingenuous as well as being pretty stupid advice for the GOP.

Did you actually read the emails ? They were just friendly - nothing about sex and nothing personal except the request for the boy's picture. The page oversight committee was informed by the boy's parents, Hastert was then informed, and responded by telling Foley to stay away from the pages.
What else should he have done ? Investigate what ? There was no "there" there. Even the police can do no more if a crime has not been committed. The FBI was shown the emails and didn't investigate because there was no crime. Various news organizations declined to publish the story last year because there was nothing to it.
Are you saying Hastert should have felt more powerful than the FBI and done more ? He should have been all over what ?
If you have no specifics, don't throw mud just for the sake of piling on.

Can you tell us what was in those "overly friendly" emails? No one except you seems top know since you want Hastert to resign over them.
Share it with us, please.
