CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.
Developing...
There was nothing to lie about. He thought about it's being a prank before Drudge put up the siren. That's all there is to it, IMO.
My husband called our Congressman's office and told him that we support Hastert and hope he does too..........which I'm sure he does.
Haven't heard anything from DeWine about it, and probably won't.
His lawyer, Stephen Jones, said he has left Oklahoma. This is from an OK Dem site.
It is my understanding that Istook let his controversial Deputy Campaign Manager go.
When asked Istook said he wasn't here and wouldn't be back.
Istook claimed that it was a Democratic Website led to his problems.
The Drudge Report says it was a Prank that went awry.
I want to know who is paying as well. Jones did say that it is not the Istook campaign.
Really, it sounds like you're putting words in my mouth. Anyway I'm done with you...
Interesting.
Havent the time to keep up ...what is your take on this guy ...If it was Prank, why did Dems get ahold of it?
Pure stupidity?
Love the tagline--lol!
Did you see this?

Libs are just insistent in sexualizing children or should I say homosexualizing children.
Here is an idea. Let's call the Dem's bluff. Hastert and Frist should call a joint press conference and suggest that the US needs to standardize its laws to protect children. They should propose legislation to encourage (force by withholding funds) states to set the age of consent for anything sexual to the age of 18. A federal law could make it a crime to have a sexually explicit conversation on the internet or by phone with anyone under the age of 18 (exceptions for husbands & wives).
Now, as a libertarian leaning Republican, I am not usually in favor of such messing with States rights. But can you just imagine the screams coming from the Dem's gay constituents? How could the Dem's denounce it? If they did, they would be hypocrites once again.
It would make for some interesting politics right before the election.
What is that smell? 'Rat heads melting all around the Beltway.
If DeWine can come back, surelt Santorum can...I think it's time to go on offense.
Tomorrow in My County in the 16th CD in Florida we will be meeting the New Candidate Joe Negron. We are sick about Mark Foley, but we have moved on with heavy hearts. I get Christmas Cards and I have received Birthday Cards from His office. He is being treated like he was hitting on a 5 year old. He was not. Our Base is fired up at the sickness that has taken over the Democrat Party. Mark Foley's opponent Tim Mahoney had people calling up constituents about a year ago push polling saying what a lousy job Mark was doing, which was BS. They also were very snarky asking questions like how would you feel if you found out that Mark Foley was gay? One friend of mine that got these phone calls told them she did not care, that he served his constituents well and she liked him and respected him a lot. Then the creeps brought up Mahoney's name and she said she never heard of him and she was happy with Mark and would not even consider an unknown outsider coming in and trying to push his way in. It is this kind of call that made them realize that even in a conservative area talking with an elderly Conservative lady they got nowhere. This is probably when they started the push to destroy him in his constituents eyes. They do not know Conservatives, and never will. The guy looks like he could be Tom Hayden's younger Brother.UGLEEE!
GMTA! :-)
You made the accusation against Rush, not I.
I disagreed with it based on what happened in the conversation, and Rush's basic truthfulness, and you could only defend your position with how you felt about it.........no evidence to back it up at all.
It may seem picky to you (I don't know how young or culture saturated you are), but accusing Rush of 'over acting' while pretending he didn't know what you are claiming he did know, is the same as saying that he lied.
Sorry, but accuracy matters. Words mean things.
(It wouldn't be that hard to admit you were wrong, would it?)
I think Santorum will win. This will help.
Maybe there should be a freeper in training identifier by the screen names lol
