CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.

The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.

The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.

The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

I am jumping in here (trying so hard to catch up). Not ranting at you, just ranting in general, LOL!

As far as I am concerned Foley's situation is irrelevant at this moment, except it was the match that lit the dynamite.

Foley is gay (Not a surprise and who cares?) As I stated earlier I do not care who he sleeps with as long as it is a consenting adult.

I have more important things to deal with in my life to waste time worrying about who he sleeps with.

He resigned when the emails came to light and rightly so.

He put himself in the position to be duped (if true) by the IM's to the 18 year old.

As far as the emails to the 16 year old are concerned, very inappropriate, but not illegal. As a parent, I do understand the request to have someone deal with it, and even understand the request that it go no further.

1. What parent would want to put their 16 year old son through this feeding frenzy

and

2. What else could be done? No law was broken. No sexual advances were made. If they wanted it to go further, based on what we know, they may very well have been told legally, there was nothing to be done. Hastert handled it.

The dems have done what the dems do best.

Remember the Rockefeller Memo? The dems framed the issue and the GOP was made the bad guy for what, looking at a computer screen that was not secured?

And that pesky Joe Wilson...they defined the issue.

I want it to stop once and for all.

The dems have defined the issue so well that 90% of voters probably think Foley molested a young boy/s.

I do not feel sorry for him as he did not use the judgement I would expect from an elected official. He did this to himself. The feds are involved and if Foley is guilty of anything more, it will be handled and he will pay a very heavy price..

The Foley aspect of this is over. I want to concentrate on what is important. Rooting out those in power who have used this as a power play in a covert attempt to influence federal elections comes to mind.

Lives are being affected. Our lives. My life. My husband's life. The lives of my sons and daughter-in-law. The life of my 10 month old grandson.

Imagine the next 2 years with the dems in power.

We are fighting a war like none other and all they will want to do is investigate/impeach the President.

Once again we will be trying to make nice with terrorists instead of trying to kill them before they kill us. Taxes will go up. Gas prices will skyrocket. We will have Shumer, Conyers, Leahy, Kennedy at al in our faces 24/7 setting the agenda.....Bubba and Hillary (BLECH!!!!)

SOROS WILL HAVE WON!!!!

I want voters to organize like never before to get that stupid CFR overturned so the media is not driving the election issues each and every election cycle.

/rant over :-)

"Hmmm...I don't know, what do you think?"

No clue...that's a huge screwup, but then again...we're not dealing with rocket scientists here...

"I don't know IF the world will be a better place because Mr. Foley left. The world would be a better place if the evil democrat souls were gone. Right?"

Yes, but you know what, let me take that back. Obviously, if this Foley thing costs us the House, then the world clearly isn't a better place. I think the jury is probably still out on what impact he will have.

Hey, we think alike...

FOX is probably paying penance to His Raunchiness, bill clinton, for asking that *ahem* embarrassing question about national security. He'll let them know when they can get off their knees. 123 posted on 10/05/2006 10:42:59 PM EDT by madison10

"And as more of their scams come out, this story dies, they've ensured Woodward is old news since they decided to toss him over for Foley, and there beneath the dust is the President still on message about the WOT to fill in the sudden vacuum created by the absence of the Dems planned October Surprise. Checkmate losers."

Not only that, but the Maroons have the FBI looking into this mess now, and they are up to their ears in caca.

They might succeed in getting Soros's lil CREW group barred.

AND they have pissed off their queer base to the point they are spitting nails!
That is why I changed my tag-line, just to rub their nose in the mess they created.

If the Dems win the house:

1. NSA won't be tracking terrorist e-communications.
2. The will have plenty of time and resources to protect the children from politicians and track all House members e-communications.

Right.

I posted this earlier and I will repost it again regarding Foxnews:

Foxnews is so obsessed with this stupid motto of theirs “Fair and Balance” that they have to lie on behalf of the democrats just to tell them “see, we are not a conservative network”. After Clinton exploded like a fool 10 days ago on Foxnews and the accusation that were directed at Foxnews that they are a conservative network, Foxnews is doing their best to lie and beat up on republicans to show the democrats that they are not conservative but rather “fair and balance”. This happened so many times before with Foxews, it is so obvious and so stupid.

Well, I'll tell you one thing..........it's gotten my husband and me to donate to the RNC.

We had decided this election to just support individual candidates, but this has made us just plain MAD.

(Even our mealy mouthed DeWine has picked up support. :)

The Dems are going to rue the day they started this slime machine. The base is not ON FIRE!

Right............he was responding to a caller, and didn't initiate the 'prank' thing.

And it wasn't very much later that he found out about Drudge and he was genuinely surprised and VERY proud of himself, I might add.

Anyone have a clue why this report on Drudge hasn't been mentioned on any news show tonight? As a matter of fact the Dem pundits are still at it as ugly as ever.

Great question. I've been asking the same thing. There seems to be an unspoken taboo in the TV media against attributing ANYTHING to Matt Drudge, probably because they don't want to acknowledge that a guy operating solo can do what they do AND BETTER. It's a snob thing that even applies to Foxnews.
