CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.
Developing...
ABC is in on this business and will be taken down by the FBI.
Let's see, we've almost destroyed CBS, and now we really do nail ABC. That leaves NBC!
Aaaarrrrrhggghghghghghghgh ~ (running off down the street holding head).
It's a fun one alright!
Freaking brilliant. McVeigh is dead.
To: longtermmemmory
Now Nancy Pelosi is ready to take the 5th over when she had the instant messages.
OMG! She said that?
Lol! I don't know. Longtermmemory posted so and I was as shocked as you! Man O' man, if she has, WOW!
Foley has resigned! What is abc's point in putting these instant messages. ABC has freaked. We seem to all forget we have men and women fighting overseas. They should be so proud of main stream media's crapola.
Dirty, rotten egg all over faces on LEFT side of isle... gonna take more than Windex to ease their "pain" over this bombshell.
Yes. Lindsay (and some others) are not there either. There's only one name on that list that he thinks he has the goods on (doing the nasty in Union Station). We might be very surprised if and when he finally let's it out. With the FBI investigation, he (the activist) may be thwarted.
Yes, it is. Merely repeating what a poster claims.
All of these people trying to minimize this because of this specific boy or 18 year old or whatever are missing the point. It wouldn't matter if Foley was really IMing Ted Kennedy. Foley was allowed to be in close proximity with real life 16 and 17 year old pages and probably younger kids he saw in hearings while Republicans dilly dallyed about whose responsibility it was to report him.
Foley DID send creepy e-mails but this was a Democrat PLOT from the get-go!! Hope the FBI comes down on these GAY PAGES COUP PLOTTING Big Time!!

".....that Foley more than duped a few other kids in more ways than one."
Remember, though.....kids these days right from HS have been taught that experimenting with or becoming a fag is fashionable and acceptable.....I seriously doubt that many 16-17 y/o's don't recognize perfectly well when a fag come-on is escalating.....I point this out only to say that Foley didn't do much "duping", but rather "propositioning".....not defending him, btw.
Don't be silly. You seem to have all your mental faculties. No need for me to remind you of anything.
Studds; Yes, that is his name.
Well, look at the way Dan Rather responded to the allegations of fakery. Did he slink away with his tail between his legs, issuing an apology? NO! He followed up the original 60 minutes segment with an expanded version in an attempt to continue the fraud. To this day, he's never admitted the documents were forged. And these are the same people who continually demand President Bush to admit he'd made mistakes and apologize for them.
