CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

What you two said: I'm getting tired of having to correct the "pedophile" issue. It really hasn't been such as issue since the beginning.
could it be the FBI called?
Seems he played a joke and it brought down a Congressman.
one of those "oh ****t!" moments.
Aha! He was not living under a rock, as we know he was "running" a campaign. And yet, until someone discovered a little ABC slip up, he did not come forward. He watched a congressman resign, and said nothing.
If you think some brainless Hollywood starlet marching around with another hollywood starlet is remotely the same as a member of the US House of Representatives going after teenage interns, I don't think anything I say will change your mind.
From a polipundit.com thread
Kudlow is on CNBC and hes accusing everyone of a cover up. The alleged polls showing 50 seat lose are based on Flash polls.

FLASH POLLS? The supposed insider polls by a respected polster FOX claims were delivered were FLASH POLLS??? Oh, well, those are reliable assessmnets of district by district polling..
FOX should retract that info publicly and relate the Republican that "leaked" this to them. I want the name of the Republican that tried to sabotage Denny.
That's the lesson that needs to be learned here. The left is going to see these guys as usless to their gay agenda, and some on the right will just call them repugnant, perverts, and creeps, and both sides are going to bully them in their own way. I liked Drier overall, and I think as this wears on and more details surface, more people are going to be sympathetic towards Foley.
Don't be a moron.
Yes, this 21 year old kid/boy should come out with his attorney ASAP to tell what really happened. He needs to do it NOW.
The little punk will need that criminal defense lawyer!
For one thing, it calls into question the statement that Foley was the one who initiated the sex part of the chat. The IMs might have been redacted to only show those parts that implied that it was Foley who started the sexual talk. Any IMs that ABC produces now will be questioned (were these pages in on the prank)?
That's the ~ already been outed ~ list. You have to dig into his archives to see what his plans are. Here's part of what gay activist Mike Rogers wrote about outing yet another Rep Senator:

Foley's record on gays the last couple of years were noticeably left leaning, though he still hid it with some of the heavier stuff.
Seeker, I hear now over at polipundit, that the FOX news Armageddon crap was based on frikin Flash polls. Spur of the moment garbage.
FOX NEWS BLOWS
That's right. What is really depressing me in all of this is NOT Democrat behavior - I expect hypocrisy from that camp. It's all the "hang 'em high" rhetoric from our own side - the "put him in jail" crowd, and you say, "For what?" Followed by the sound of crickets.
That list is bogus. Mel Martinez is not gay nor the other ones listed. This gay site has gone bonkers, is it being ran by Rosie Odonnell?
Now, he said they were up for releelection in 2006. so narrow it down more.
Please freepmail me the exact http site where a Freeper tried to do a hatchet job on Denny.
I will keep a list. I have the exact site to check out the reply or the thread. There are too many needles in these haystacks to go through.
If Clinton would have had the decency to resign, I may have found some compassion for him. Heck, if he just would have told the truth to begin with, I would have. BTW, with Clinton, is was about lying under oath. Seems you needed to be reminded of that.
Fortunately I heard Rush talk about this in the car.
This is truly getting to be fun! It must stink to be a RAT these days..........hehe.......
