CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

If Hasert was a real leader he would have forced Foley to retire. Hasert cannot force another congressman to retire or quit. Foley was a duly elected congressman by his district. Get up to speed. Hasert can only report what might be a violation to the authorities, which he did.

Neil questions him about the Foley mess and if his groups were responsible.Soros answers he first heard of this on the TV. (ppppfffttt)
Soros says there is something wrong with our electorate- we only wnat to hear good things. He says the WOT is wrong..the phrase itself is counterproductive..
Neil reminds him he (Soros) has said the WOT has done more HARM than good...
Soros responds with how many innocent people WE have killed..

I have one question about ABC also. Did they know the identify of the page? It took a little digging for the pajama blogger to i.d. Jordan from the screen name ABC "mistakenly" left up on their site. Since there was no press release given to ABC providing his name, we'd have to assume ABC was incapable of doing that same basic research themselves. So if ABC bought the "transcripts" from an intermediary, they may not have "known" who Jordan was (although they possessed the clues necessary to figure it out).
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the DBM press gaggle to camp out in front of Jordan's house, like they did with Hastert today.

piasa,
What is it Command, Control, Communication....
They have the Communication wrapped, except, FR and Talk Radio. But after Foley they went for the Command i.e. Hastert. Whiley ones these Dem-operatives.....

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you have to play devil's advocate here for a second.
The media will play this as a Republican page trying to save the Republican House and Senate. That's it. He was believable when it was negative towards the democraps, but he is nothing more than politically motivated now that the story has tuned sour to the libs.
Trust me, this is not as big as you might think.

Forgive me, I haven't had time to read all of the responses to this revelation, but I am perplexed about a few things.
If the page was a "conservative Republican", why would he goad a Republican legislator into believing he (the page) was interested in continuing a lurid, albeit non-physical relationship? Secondly, I recall my days as an 18+ year old and the friends with whom I associated and none of us would have viewed this email, IM exchange as an enjoyable prank. Finally, this "prank" is ultimately revealed within weeks of an election causing the Republican candidate to resign. If that didn't come from page 1 of the DNC playboy, I would be stunned.
Conservatives don't condone Foley's actions, regardless of the reason behind them. But if the left thinks we are going to condemn an entire party for the abhorrent actions of one member, they obviously underestimate the intelligence of the right and our knowledge of what we KNOW would happen to our nation if the left regained power.
I ponder over the past 6 years and imagine the unimaginable advances that could have been made if those years had not been filled with nearly total partisanship and obstructionism on the part of democrats of both the House and the Senate.
I'm not buying this latest version of the Foley story. A member of the legislature asked Pelosi and Emmanual to swear under oath that neither they nor any member of their staffs had any knowledge of this matter prior to its revelation in the media......both refused to do so.
I think every legislator should be sworn and asked the above question......and then let the investigation continue. I believe there would be a great deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Hastert shouldn't run for speaker again. Not because of this, but because he should take more naps and let a stronger leader take the job -- and someone less affected by RINO's.
