Why is that insane? Do you think there is a BUDGET for armed security guards? I could barely get textbooks this year! I have to PAY for my MANDATORY training this year. When I taught in Florida we had an 8 building campus each building having 3 stories. That's a LOT of security guards to cover the problem. We had 3 security guards when I was there and they weren't armed.

No budget for armed security guards? Maybe if teacher unions stopped demanding ever higher salaries and privileges as a reward for ever declining scores there would be enough money and probably not so much aggression!

Get rid of unions. Stop protecting the incompetents at the expense of the excellent. Stop promoting secular humanism values free education. The kids will respect education more.
