Of course the Dems are exploiting the Foley case for all it's worth. That's what any political party would do. It's given them a seat win in the House, so--from their point of view--why not cry 'cover-up' and cause even more damage among the opposition. But therein lies the problem: how long did the media and/or the Dems know about Foley's behavior before it was exposed? Did lots of people know what he was doing--to children--and decide to sit on the info so they could spring an October Surprise?

If a pedophile was writing suggestive or outright sexually charged messages to my 14-year-old daughter or 12-year-old son, I would find them and hurt them. Such contact with pedophiles is damaging to children--even 16-year-old congressional pages who are, after all, still kids. Further, if I knew that someone else had knowledge of the pedophile's behavior and did nothing until they could use that information to best advantage, I would find them and hurt them, too.

This whole deal is just sickening.

Actually, it's not really pedophelia that was going on. It is homosexual activity. Pedophiles are interested in kids who have not yet hit puberty. And no, I'm not condoning it, it's wrong.

Right. And I suspect you wouldn't even dream of allowing your 16-year-old son to move to Washington and work in an environment where f#cked-up, deviant behavior among our elected "leaders" is pretty much considered normal.
