I'm sure. If they have kids out and safe , they need to be released to their parents though, IMO.
Emergency assistance has been called from Jefferson County, including a bomb squad.
The mutual assistance requests may be precautionary in nature.
South Platte River runs right along the road there. Must be near Decker. Catch and release trout reserve. Gorgeous. Any more info on the perp?
From the thread my guess is domestic violence between teacher and a past boyfriend.
The crackling is pretty annoying, too, but can't do anything about that.
Not from my side, maybe others. Just adult male.
They'd better damn well release that information to the parents!
Dang it, of course my cable would go out at a time like this. I'm so glad FReepers are keeping all of us updated on the latest. :)
I hope and pray this comes to a peaceful resolution. I doubt the media will bother to make mention of the policy (or the total uselessness thereof).
It blows my mind how naive some people can be - how can you believe that posting a sign/policy will stop a criminal (hello, they intentionally break the law)!
Anyone watching live; was that a white tank they just unloaded??
Gunman is a 35 year old male. 4 hostages still being held. According to KOA radio.
Gunman may have a bomb in his backpack...
The job has been a real eye-opener for her.
