A textbook definition of cowardice.
pMSNBC ^ | Updated: 10:28 p.m. ET Sept 25, 2006 | Keith Olbermann

The headlines about them are, of course, entirely wrong.

It is not essential that a past president, bullied and sandbagged by a monkey posing as a newscaster, finally lashed back.

It is not important that the current President’s portable public chorus has described his predecessor’s tone as “crazed.”

Our tone should be crazed. The nation’s freedoms are under assault by an administration whose policies can do us as much damage as al Qaida; the nation’s marketplace of ideas is being poisoned by a propaganda company so blatant that Tokyo Rose would’ve quit.

Nonetheless. The headline is this:

Bill Clinton did what almost none of us have done in five years.

He has spoken the truth about 9/11, and the current presidential administration.

Un-fricking-believeable! Klintoon walks on water; Bush is the devil! This hit piece is dripping with more venom than I've read in a long time.

This guy's face is so brown from being up Bubba''s you-know-where.

Klintoon had 8 years and did zip; W&Co had 8 mos and it's all his fault.

I think the ratings speak for themselves.

I thought he was great on ESPN but quickly decided after I watched his program that he would have been better served by sticking with sports.

Bill Clinton's apologists still wear kneepads for that sociopath. They excuse and explain away his pathological lies and narcissism. In their minds, its all explained by Bush being a bigger liar and a worse offender to the Constitution than Clinton. Sexual infidelity pales next to lying to get us into an unnecessary war and domestic spying on American citizens. As they see it, their hero blundered with Monica but Bush blundered with the nation's liberties. That's how they have managed to build up Clinton's flimsy legacy - by tearing down Bush.

" Bill Clinton did what almost none of us have done in five years.

It's hard to pick among the lies and parse out the BS but this may be all we need to read. Does Olberman really say, with a straight face, that no one else in the past five years has voiced an opinion contrary to the presidents? This is a statement he has made. Read it above. He cannot be sober if he has made it.

I'm always amused by Clinton's lackeys and diehard supporters who refuse to believe that Der Slickster ever did anything wrong. I'm an admitted Bushbot, but even I criticize Bush for mistakes like spending and immigration even while I strongly support him overall. But from the Clintonistas, like the obviously hero-worshipping and ridiculous Olbermann, you can't get even a tiny admission that he ever did anything wrong. Which I find far more amazing than even Clinton's own severely flawed admin. Olbermann once again proves that Republicans are far more realistic about their elected leaders than Democrats.

I'd bet he's well-paid by the Klintoon machine to write this crap. This kind of blind, fanatical loyalty reminds me of the last days of the nazis or Japanese military.
