Lloyd Norquay is HIV positive and he's mystified as to why anyone else would want to be.
Norquay, who manages a gay bathhouse in Vancouver, says he's been approached by men who don't have the virus that causes AIDS but who tell him they want to be infected by him.
"I usually try to find out why, if they're interested in talking at all, and then ask them questions as to why they're wanting to do this," Norquay said.
"Nobody has a real answer."
In the gay community, they're called bug chasers. If he were willing, Norquay would be referred to as a gift giver.
Whether they actually exist or whether they're simply part of the fantasy life that's rife on the Internet is a matter of debate among researchers and even Norquay isn't quite sure.

Wait. So if the guy has been approached, that would seem to imply that it isn't just an urban legend, right? Of course, I am asking a rhetorical question as this *is* a real phenomenon (I believe the lead singer of the band Erasure admittedly fell into this category of the infected.)
In their sick minds, it is the closest they can get to being pregnant. The whole concept of "gay" is sick; AIDS is just a badge of honor. We have spent the last 20 years glorifying AIDS, why wouldn't they want to catch it?
There are no doubt twisted and depraved individuals who are not only homosexual, but wish to contract HIV/AIDS and would be happy to pass it on to anyone willing to receive such a dubious "gift".
This demonstrates to my satisfaction that homosexuality is exactly as it was once defined in the 1950's (and earlier), as a mental disturbance, a psychological illness, which is why homosexuals at one time found it damn near impossible to obtain a security clearance due to their vulnerability to foreign blackmail and compromising restricted information entrusted to them.
Homosexuality, despite all of the hoopla and hype from the pro-homo lobby, is NOT natural, it is NOT what was or is intended for our species because homosexuals are unable to reproduce naturally which amply proves that by the very definition of their life style, they SHOULD be an endangered species if for no other reason that they are unable to propagate.
Lo and behold, we see homosexuals intent on indoctrinating our children as early as possible in the public school system, seeking to brainwash them into accepting the lie that homosexuality is merely an "alternate lifestyle", when in fact it is self-destructive on a personal and societal basis, it damns the physical body and mortally wounds the soul.
Some people are mentally ill.
Homosexuality, as is being "bug chaser" is simply another symptom of this mental illness.
Its the only mental illness that we are no longer allowed to treat.
There have been many cases where these sicko's purposely get infected and purposely infect as many others as possible, their target being straight women/bi men. In their twisted minds they think that if it's spread widely through the straight population, then they will find a cure faster. They think there is a "conspiracy" to NOT find a cure because it's a fag disease.
These are sick, demented, self destructive freaks.

These men don't want tolerance or education. They want to have gay sex as many times as they can. You would have to be a deaf and blind mute to be an active homosexual who was unaware of the dangers of this disease.

We have not (and probably will not) cure HIV but with taxpayer funded cocktails of new drugs we can allow the homosexual to continue to practice his lifestyle in reasonable comfort with the assurance that he will probably live a long life (and infect others should he continue his promiscious lifestyle). It's all about the sex.
Same story for heroin addicts who are infecting others with dirty needles. We enable them to survive so they can continue their purpose in life (getting high) and they don't care who they infect either. It's all about the drug.
No matter what they say or tell us we must do the inescapable fact is that this is a disease spread by recognizable behaviors that carry risk. I feel horrible for the unfortunate few who contracted this via dirty transfusions or hospital accidents but the rest of the adults infected should have known the risks for their behavior just like I know that driving 100mph on my motorcycle is risky behavior. It's fun but if I end up smeared on the road I have nobody else to blame but myself.
Maybe if we were more tolerant to speeding motorcyclist and had more education about it we could prevent my accident.

I agree there is something to this. Everyone going around wearing those red ribbons, kinda makes one feel "special". A few years ago I read an article about a homosexual who had sex with an HIV-infected partner to make a "political statement".
I suspect many homosexuals are drama queens (pardon the pun), who like to act-up being gay for the attention. This is just taking it one step further. The other thing is that many gays now percieve that AIDS is no longer a death sentence. Their lives can be stretched out almost indefinitely with drugs--of course, the taxpayers end up footing the bill for this.

I think that the disability aspect is pleasing for some. Disability is the new Welfare.
