Gaza Muslims form Group to Attack Christian Targets (unless Pope apologizes further)

Gazan Muslims Form Group to Attack Christian Targets 23:03 Sep 19, '06 / 26 Elul 5766 by Ezra HaLevi

Muslims in Hamas-controlled Gaza have formed an ad hoc terrorist group promising to attack Christian targets to avenge the Pope’s choice of a quotation insinuating that Islam is prone to violence.

The group, which calls itself the “Army of guidance,” sent an announcement to news agencies based in Gaza saying that “every place relevant to Christians will be a target until the cursed infidel – the Vatican – apologizes to Muslims.”

Hardline Islamic groups were offended by the Pope’s citing of a Byzantine emperor who criticized Islam’s founder Mohammad’s command to spread Islamic faith by the sword.

Last Friday, the 1,400 year old St. Perfidious Greek Orthodox church in Gaza was among seven Christian targets burned or vandalized throughout PA-controlled areas.

Pope Benedict XVI has refused to apologize for merely citing quotations, but said he was “deeply sorry” for the Muslim reaction to the words – which he stressed do not constitute his own opinion.

Though touted as an apology by the Vatican’s own public relations team, Islamic leaders continue to demand submission from the leader of Catholicism.

The chief Islamic Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Hussein called the Pope’s statement of sorrow insufficient and demanded a “clear apology” Tuesday. He condemned attacks on churches but insisted the Pope himself is responsible for the Muslim violence.

It is a "religon of peace, tolerance, and love". It is a "religon of peace, tolerance, and love". It is a "religon of peace, tolerance, and love". It is a "religon of peace, tolerance, and love".

And pigs fly, the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, and King Ahab Willie didn't have s-e-x with "that woman."

I always wondered how Islam would react if Mecca and Medina were turned into a highly radioactive pit of glass.

Muslims are adamant that they will kill anyone that calls them killers. Yet we continue to apologize to them? The pope is the one who should be demanding an apology.

They are only proving BXVI's point. Reason and God go together, but take away one or the other and you get madness.

Wonder how much they'd spend on radioactive cleanup before writing it off altogether.

The following says it all about the Islamic Fascists and the stupidity of those who try to appease them:

"Muslims . . . have formed a . . . terrorist group promising to attack Christian targets to avenge the Pope . . . insinuating that Islam is prone to violence."

Odd that the "Christians' holy war" is only against the muslims (and perhaps some turf war in Ireland) while the "muslims' holy war" is being conducted around the world against Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and even other muslims who don't subscribe to the same form of Islam.

terrorist group promising to attack Christian targets

Hold on guys. George Bush may be making it easier if you just wait a while.

Yesterday, again, he allowed his peace visions which include you getting control over so many more Christian sites.

How does the Church of the Holy Sepulcher sound as a target?

Today it's protected by Israel but if Bush gets his way....

This business with ManuelII Paleologus is going to make teaching world literature very difficult. In Dante's Inferno, Mohammed is depicted as onew of the damned.

Apparently Islam is only violent if you notice it.

The chief Islamic Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Hussein.... condemned attacks on churches but insisted the Pope himself is responsible for the Muslim violence.

You made me violent its all your fault!!!!

An obscure Italian church fresco painted 600 years ago might lead to a new flareup in the Mohammed controversy.

The wall painting depicts Mohammed as a sinner tormented in hell.

The wall painting was singled out by a Muslim organization in Italy as an insult to Islam. Its leaders demanded the pope John Paul II to take it down (meaning to destroy it, since frescos cannot be removed) or to cover it.

The pope refused to do so and as a reprisal a Muslim terror cell, unconnected with the complaining organization, decided to blow the church up.

Fortunatelly, the police caught the plotters in time. However, the painting has become a new rallying point for muslim fundamentalists everywhere and can lead to new troubles in the future.
