So here’s the thing about speed dating for Muslims.
Many American Muslims — or at least those bent on maintaining certain conservative traditions — equate anything labeled “dating” with hellfire, no matter how short a time is involved. Hence the wildly popular speed dating sessions at the largest annual Muslim conference in North America were given an entirely more respectable label. They were called the “matrimonial banquet.”
“If we called it speed dating, it will end up with real dating,” said Shamshad Hussain, one of the organizers, grimacing.
Both the banquet earlier this month and various related seminars underscored the difficulty that some American Muslim families face in grappling with an issue on which many prefer not to assimilate. One seminar, called “Dating,” promised attendees helpful hints for “Muslim families struggling to save their children from it.”
The couple of hundred people attending the dating seminar burst out laughing when Imam Muhamed Magid of the Adams Center, a collective of seven mosques in Virginia, summed up the basic instructions that Muslim American parents give their adolescent children, particularly males: “Don’t talk to the Muslim girls, ever, but you are going to marry them. As for the non-Muslim girls, talk to them, but don’t ever bring one home.”

Yasmeen Qadri, suggested that Muslim mothers across the continent band together in an organization called “Mothers Against Dating,” modeled on Mothers Against Drunk Driving. If the term “arranged marriage” is too distasteful to the next generation, she said, then perhaps the practice could be Americanized simply by renaming it “assisted marriage,” just like assisted living for the elderly.
“In the United States we can play with words however we want, but we are not trying to set aside our cultural values,” said Mrs. Qadri, a professor of education.

The article doesn't even mention that another Muslim tradition is to have more than one wife--
Muslim communities belong in Muslim countries.
I do however want to try to at least honor those that are not of that strain. Are there reservations overall about Muslims and the evilness of their religion overall? Absolutely. Understandable. Yet, I can empathize with trying to live a religious conservative life in a world that is so sinful and disregarding of God.
With a mating ritual like that, you wonder how they manage to reproduce.
My parents don't even have to tell me that. I can't imagine how fired up they both would be if I told them I wanted to marry a girl with anything more than (normal) ear rings and if they have a tattoo it better not be readily visible. Of course both of those are getting harder and harder to find. I would guess that the number of girls with a tramp stamp hovers around 60% nevermind any other number of tattoos. And although nose rings have fallen out of favor when I first got to college I could have sworn they were handed out in orientation.
Yet, I would teach my child to treat people with respect and to use Jesus' behavior as a guide. One thing I love about Jesus is he loved people and wanted them to understand how much God loved them. But he also told them, "Go and sin no more." This latter aspect of Jesus is so left out of even Christian understanding. He also saw the devil and named him and this is where the whole Muslim issue comes to mind. Is it an evil religion? I have intuitively felt this for sometime. Yet, I want to be cautious. For if it is I need to fully protect myself from all of its influence as I do with all evil.
In other religions one will face a number of church related punishments, in islam the punishment will be death.
Even here in America, just ask Methal Dayem's mother, sister and aunt....

LOL - Reminds me of my Catholic high school so long ago: NO dating, ANY sexual arousal was a ticket straight to hell, and the senior prom was in the gymnasium with the entire faculty of priests and nuns sitting in the balcony watching every move throughout the evening. Ah, the good ole days.... :)

You make and excellent point. What sort of religion kills its members if they leave? An evil one. That is for sure. On that one point alone I would say it is not a Godly religion but one of satan.
Sorry, but whenever you're dealing with a Muslim, one must take into account that Muslims are the product of hundreds of generations of what we westerners consider medically dangerous inbreeding, which even if it left them reasonably normal in the physical sense, might very well make them mentally unstable.
They usually marry within their own clan, and hardly ever outside their tribal unit. The influx of oil money beginning in the 1960's only made it worse. For example (and this is by no means an exceptional case): Osama bin Laden, is one of 75 children born to a Yemeni sequentially married to at least 30 cousins, many of them actually sisters. Osama has fathered upwards of 65 children of unions with perhaps 25 or 30 of his cousins, many of them sisters.
Check out ObL physically. Tall, gangly, extremely prognathous features, deaf, poor eyesight, kidney problems, and nuttier than Auntie Laura's Fruitcake. Yet, this guy could walk down any street in Riyadh and no one would give him a second glance. Since he can walk and talk, the Saudis consider HIS birth defects minimal!
Worse, these inbreeding habits have led to a huge population increase in Arab oil countries since the '60s. E.G. Saudi Arabia QUINTUPLED it's population, leaving a surfeit of very ignorant young men, many with obvious mental problems, with absolutely nothing to do except hang around the mosques, train as terrorists, and fantasize about stepping into a dynamite jockstrap to qualify for their 72 virgins.
This is also starting to be seen in the European centers of Muslim population, where the fast-breeding Muslims already outnumber every other group, e.g., Brussels, Marseilles, Oslo(!).
they don't practice birth control. They reproduce quite nicely thank you. The battle is about recently voided aspects of TROP. They haven't gotten much past club upside head, drag woman to cave. The birth control pill will cause them to become completely unhinged.
It's been a couple of generations since American and western women in general were subject becoming pregnant every time they engaged in sex. I sometimes think we have forgotten so much. It's as if we think these folks in Pakistan, Iran, SA whereever practice birth control to the extent we do. They don't. If they did, their regimes would fall.
A "Muslim date" is a euphemism for a combination rape and murder.
Muslim chicks are all sexually frustrated sluts. Use them as you like. They belong to you.
Yeah. With all that oil money for women to shop with who needs sex? Especially with these yahoos. I say shoes and handbags, combined with birth control could be the fall of these Islamic regimes.
