New Poll: Katherine Harris is closing gap!!
SurveyUSA ^

Posted on 09/17/2006 5:58:24 PM PDT by cutepanda

I am surprised that nobody has noticed this poll taken by SurveyUSA on September 14th.

Nelson 53% : Harris 38%

Clearly, Harris is catching up fast. She used to be 30 points behind but in this post-primary poll, the gap has been narrowed to 15%.

Nelson is in his low 50s, he is clearly in danger. For all those Harris nonsayers, I say screw you!! If Harris keeps on campaigning, the victory is within reach!

When RINO Lincoln Chafee won his primary, all the GOP establishement signed a sigh of relief. However, a new poll to be released by Rasmussen shows the following astonishing results:

Whitehouse 51% : Chafee 43%.

Will GOP establishment pour in another $5MM to save this RHINO? Shall we say mission impossible after the conservative voters are pissed off by the blatant interference from Ms. Dole?

Go Harris! Screw you Lincoln Chafee.

It's the fault of posters outside FL who wish to trash her and declare her candidacy hopeless.

Does that mean you are voting for the liberal Bill Nelson?

I'll be honest, I do think her candidacy is hopeless.

But if she loses by 10 or 15 its better than what it looked like a month ago -- that is, her losing by 30. I just think she's been too damaged by gaffes (like the Washington house decoration thing) to come back.

51 days to election -- plenty of time --- plus she's going to get to debate Nelson.

There's time, yes, and Nelson is a buffoon, but Nelson has six times as much cash on hand -- and Florida is expensive to run ads in. I just can't see it happening.

Be a man and tell us who you are voting for--the liberal Nelson--or your nemesis Katherine Harris. You've bashed Harris to date. Put your cards on the table and tell us who you support and why.

You would think Pubbies would be thrilled that a RINO who supports some Bush nominations is in office in the Senate, where the real action is

I am thrilled about it.

Whitehouse 51% : Chafee 43%.

Good! I've said all along that people should not underestimate Kathy Harris.

*smiling* those men network too --- you have to know they appreciate her 2nd Amendment views.

You can count on that. Many of the Gun Show attendies requested more than one Harris bumper sticker. There's a cool one--"Vote Harris for Sportsmen." Thought that would be the first to go with the gun crowd. Remarkably, they were requesting the standard Harris sticker even more than the Sportsmen one.

I like that! She needs the RNC to support her and for Jeb to campaign for her. I hope both will come through.

Did you hear Harris carried Miami-Dade county with 64% of the primary vote? The Miami Herald maroon assigned to cover the Harris Campaign HQ story primary night--poofy loser Jack Dolan--was so disappointed by the Harris primary win, his non-story was buried way deep into the bowels of the rag.
Looks like the editors were disappointed they wasted money sending him to Tampa for the evening.

Nelson's position(s) are the same as ultraliberal Democrats from places like Boston and San Francisco.

True, but don't forget that nowadays millions of FL voters are transplants from NY, NJ, MA, and other liberal northeast states who vote for liberal Democrats in FL just as they did back home.

It's still very much an uphill fight for Harris IMHO. I certainly wish her well, but unless the polls are very, very far out of sync with reality I really don't see how that she can make up that much difference in the support for her and support for that worthless 2-faced scumbag Nelson.

I'm trying hard to look on the bright side, but that old black cloud just keeps blocking out the sun.

"Go Harris! Screw you Lincoln Chafee."

AMEN to that.

The GOP needs Chaffee like it needs Warner, Collins, Graham and McCain.

There is no reason why a proud Republican Conservative like Katherine Harris cannot defeat a slimy liberal jerk like Nelson.

As for the Quisling, defeatist Republicans constantly sniping at Harris behind the back, their motives are obvious, their opinions dont matter.

"...I support Harris even though she has a lot to learn if she is going to survive politically. She put herself on the line and took a beating to do the right thing in 2000. She was ridiculed in the most banal way by the left. I hope people realize that she is exactly what we need in the Senate. She is a solid conservative..."

Maelstorm, I said this in 2000: "Florida is 2/3 Republican, and the democRATS will try to cheat to win!" They tried, but failed!

I said this in 2002 and 2004: "Florida is still 2/3 Republican, and the cheating is over!" It was!

The democRATS have given Katherine Harris an unbelieveable amount of free publicity, and they still continue to today! It's unreal! They've elevated 'beating a dead horse' to an artform, and I hope they continue...

Now, it's 2006. I don't have to say it again. Go Katherine!!.................FRegards
