In his speech, the Sheik responded to Pope Benedict XVI's remarks on Mohammed, saying he hoped they were an accidental slip of tongue.

Sorry guys, Israel won't leave until the second half of the Tribulation Period. From what I read in the Bible, I don't think you would be really successful but rather the al-Aqza mosque won't even be there in the future.

I think quite to the contrary. Sheik disagrees with everything that comes out of the Pope's mouth(or any other Christan, for that mater) and he will expound on his speech in Mosque this coming Friday. We will never hear what he will say. His group doesn't forgive or forget. What happened 1200 years ago might as well have happened yesterday. I expect Sheik to play his political game with the West. Tough talk where necessary and nice talk when he wants to resettle his satellites in the West.
They'd like Jerusalem to be the capital of their caliphate mainly to insult both Judaism and Christianity. Period. Won't happen on Israel's watch, as long as there is an Israel. And if there's no Israel, that means there's no more muslim capitals either and a few 100 million muslims vaporized. I suppose..........

what Israeli occupation of Temple Mount????? the Muslim Waqf controls access to Temple Mount, not the Israelis.
Sheikh Salah needs to see a doctor about his illusions of reliving 11th century Islamic jihad.
