I think there were Lutherans present at the Pope's address, btw, which was in connection with some kind of ecumenical activity. There were also Jewish leaders.
I expect that Benedict XVI will do for Catholic-Lutheran relations what John Paul II did for Cathlic-Orthodox relations. I hope that he can exceed his predecessor.
