The problem is that if a rich guy criminal goes down to Mexico and bribes the officials, they can stay there to avoid American justice indefinitely.

I don't think Dog did anything wrong here. He didn't hurt any Mexicans and removed a now convicted criminal from their population.

Mexicans are just total third world scum.
I had a friend whose young daughter died there in an accident and they held her body hostage for $25,000.
He ended up sending a private part with connections to extract his daughter without paying the hostage fee.
Mexico is run and owned by the drug cartels. They are not a respectable country and I am not for the Feds sending Chapman back at all.

For the record, I always received good cooperation from the Mexican illegal community when tracking a rapist of that particular group.
But they were always amazed that the government would would expend the resources when the victim was a 'nobody' and didn't have a rich relative.

Just for once, I'd like to see this Administration butch up and tell Mexico to p#ss up a rope.

Dog, his buddies, and his film crew went down to mexico, and attempted to take Luster into custody. The fracas led to his arrest in mexico. Luster was released from Dog's custody, and then the Mexican authorities expelled him back to the U.S..

Dog was released on bail for a misdemeanor that his lawyer said was no big deal.

But later I guess he didn't go back for his trial, making him a bail jumper.

BTW, the act of bail jumping by Dog could make it just a little harder for the NEXT arrested american to get out on bail -- and that would be worse if we didn't help Mexico get him back.

If Mexico knew that anybody they let out on bail could come to the United States and would be protected by the government, they wouldn't let ANYBODY out on bail from our country anymore.

And if paying off the Mexicans was all it took, why didn't Dog just pay them off for the misdemeanor?
