Yep. Watch the talking heads try to spin this one! Rasmussen had a poll saying just about the same thing, but he mentioned that values voters are cocked and ready to hit the polls. I still believe that the social conservatives will propel the party to victory in November. My prediction: GOP +2 Senate, +1 House

Pew and Gallup have the Dems +80.

Pew - a LIB group.

Gallup - 90% of undecideds go to Kerry.

Brilliant.

The 9/11 mini-series and GW's speaking tours have helped dramatically .

Well, we've got a structural edge right off the bat in this election. Despite the fact that we hold more Senate seats than the Dems, more of them are up for re-election this time around than us. They've also got quite a few retiring (I count Jeffords as a Dem). More exposure = fewer chances for them to gain seats, more chances for them to lose seats; fewer chaces for us to lose seats, more chances for us to gain seats.

"82 percent of Republicans saying they approve of the president’s job performance "

Eighty two percent of Republicans approve of all the spending, the big government, free drug programs of the president? They approve of Ted Kennedy writing the education bill, giving away the first amendment with McPain? Amazing! No wonder so many on this board say that we have to keep voting these RINOs in all the time, they approve of the liberal trend.

Wow!
Let me know where this Senate +2 pick up is coming from.
Presuming you are saying that every incumbent Republican is going to win?

The GOP is actually WAY behind in the polls. WAY behind. We are facing a slaughter. But we are now rigging the opinion polls so when we steal the election through Diebold it won't be obvious. All the talking heads will just point out the big surge in the polls the GOP had in the last 6 weeks leading up to the election and the motivated base put them over the top.

But in reality it was Rove and Diebold that saved the day!

People are beginning to pay attention and that is never good for the Rats. They are going to take a major hit this year.

What a shock...the Dems are touted as winning going away and then....at the eleventh hour the Pubs close the gap...this is such BS.

I am convinced these polls are manipulated to boost network ratings and to increase newspaper sales.

I think Repubs have a good chance in picking 2(if not 3) senate seats, the Menendez corruption would help Kean in winning the NJ senate seat. Also Michigan looks promising for Repubs considering their lousy Governor and their economy.

Bush & Co. are not perfect. But what's the alternative, cut & run, higher taxes, liberal judges, Schumer, Pelosi, Rangel, Conyers et al. And don't think it's an accident that we've had no terrorist attacks in the US since 9/11. Pubbies got to go the polls, progress is slow, but we keep moving ahead.
