And a Republican Guard guy was John Doe #3 in the OKC blast.
NOT proven.
Highly desired and imagined though.

VERY conservative ..she's Honorary Chair of
Feminists for Life and a Christian.
"I feel like everybody has the right to life according to the Constitution," Heaton is pictured saying to an audience this past November at UCLA, as FFL President Serrin Foster, at her side, cheers her on with a resounding "Yes!"
Heaton describes how she finds the courage to hold a position unpopular in her profession by explaining: "At the end of the day, I believe I have to answer to God for the actions in my life, the actions that I took and the actions that I didn't take. So that's scarier to me than somebody in the Hollywood community not liking me."

That's what I said. We need to find out who that was.

"it was true. Of course, BUSH wasn't giving it, congress authorized it. But we weren't fighting the Taliban before 9/11. And we still had the mindset that if we gave money to poor people, they would be grateful to us."
Bingo! when will people learn that congrees are the spenders?

Isn't financial aid funneled through individual Gov'ts? The Taliban was the Gov't.

Big bureaucracies don't work any more. That's why border security is going local. Every city small and large is now or should be in the process of providing their own border security, the feds aren't up to it any more. It's very sad but true.

Right after they mentioned Bush giving money, they made it clear that it was a continuation of what Clinton was doing and that Clinton had given far more. I didn't find it offensive at all.

No I'm not kidding. We didn't take terrorism seriously enough before 9/11. I don't fault anyone for that particularly, because we couldn't even conceive of what was going to happen.
You could argue that we could have changed things after Lebanon in the 80s, or during the Bush I administration that would have prevented 9/11.
But if anyone, including President Clinton had gone after Bin Laden...he would have been right, but I guarantee you we would have been screaming about him wagging the dog.
It's hard to admit, but its the truth.
The DIFFERENCE is that today, we (conservatives/GOP) have changed our entire attitude and understand the stakes involved, while the Democrats/Liberals are still running around suggesting that we talk, negotiate and worry about the "rights" of these people. We understand they are a deadly enemy, the Dems are still stuck on "law enforcement."
The amount of time, 8 years vs. 8 months is certainly an important distinction. But we are responsible for those 8 months and we should own up to it. If we don't, we are no better than the Clintonistas.
I hope that more clearly explains my position. (By the way, I don't think Condi is a naive witch. I do think she is tough.)

You forgot the second part - "on top of the $1-- million that Clinton already gave them!"
Looks bad for Bush, looks far, far, far worse for Clinton and the Dems.
