nbc when brokaw was around, used to be the most fair of the networks.
NBC has since taken a hard left turn.

....just a thought...but President Bush just might have faith in the American people to show them how desperate the democrats are that all they have is the attack mode....wouldn't be surprised at all...President Bush is dumb like a fox....

Sarge, I'm 61 and partially handicapped, but I could and would enjoy crushing the little stink bug and the management he slimes for.

Why would Bush appear on that show today?Bush should never have given him an interview. It's not like there's anybody out there who isn't fully aware that Perky's sidekick Matt Lauer is a scumbag and a goofball. Always has been. Bush, of all people, should know that appeasement with the enemies of this nation does not work.

Barbara Bush could kick Lauer's ass! And I mean the mother of W not the daughter (although the daughter could too!)Let's cut to the chase. Every Republican except for Bill Kristol could kick Lauer's a$$.
If there was, he'd secure the borders, kick out the illegals, and wouldn't have allowed Khatami into this country. :(

My thoughts exactly - Lauer should have been hauled off in handcuffs. Then you got to ask, did Bush come off looking like the President and this guy the total buffoon he is. Unfortunately a lot of people still watch that show, and maybe this helps the cause of reason...doubtful....

I just watched the complete video and it looked to me like a school teacher, talking real slow at times, trying to explain just why 2 + 2 =4 to the dumbest moonbat in the class.
I don't think the "student" in this case understood just why his DNC Talking Points were not impressing the "teacher".
Good job by our President I thought.

Lauer: "How do you sleep at night (with terrorists out there)?"
POTUS: "I trust in Almight God."
To: quesney
You're overly sensitive. The President did a lot more gesticulating than Little Matty and Bush ended up addressing Lauer as the child he apparently is.

Looks like Bush took it to him.....good for him. This is what we all need to do to wake these idiots up...time to respond in kind.

"Why does W keep giving them interviews?" Just as he allowed Khatami to come here on 9/11 and speak to our college kids based on the premise that he "wanted to hear what (Khatami) has to say", I don't think the President really comprehends the depth of his enemies' hatred or the insideousness of their intent. But then again, I believe President Bush is somewhat of a liberal himself, or a "moderate" who vacillates between the two political ideologies. In other words, he's "diiialoguing" with the enemy, somehow believing it will help him.
To: quesney
I don't like Lauer but I saw the interview and wasn't turned off by it.
Matt asked tough questions, the President, answered those questions directly and honestly.
If the reporter asks puff ball questions, I wouldn't waste my time watching.
Furthermore, Bush certainly did do his fair share of finger pointing as well.
The best parts of the whole interview are when President Bush refused to answer specific questions that he didn't want our enemys to know the answer, and when he said that the international community has no power to dictate law to us.
Good stuff.
For all the FReepers who want a puff piece, I'm sure you can dig up some video online of Oliver North or Bill O'Reilly interviewing president Bush.

I just played your link...and I am sure it took every bit of restraint the President had to keep from decking the guy!! Both Cheney and Bush should have a rose pinned on, as they say!! They have taken it and taken it and taken it!!
