Over the past few days, I have given a "Heads Up" to Freepers about Fox airing their original 9/11 footage on an internet link that I had bookmarked. Some of you caught it and many of you wanted to.
Well, Fox has made it official. They will air the broadcast tommorrow morning starting at 8:30 a.m. EDT and it will be time synched to the original events.
The link given above does not go to a website other than their main one, so you have to tune in tomorrow to get their actual link.
However, if I were a betting man, I'd bet they will use the same one that they have used the past few days. Those links are given below:
http://www.foxnews.com/projects/livestream/player.html
http://foxnews-foxstream.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxstream
These links will likely be dead until streaming commences. Good luck with your stream captures.

Are you going to BitTorrent what you record from the stream, like you did with the last thing I got from you? I'd be interested in everything from about 8:40, until noon.

Thanks for the heads up!
I'll have to try this when I get home.

This is how naive I was back then. When the towers fell, I was just stunned. I couldn't believe it. And then I started thinking that no one was killed, surely they had all gotten out. The police and firemen had certainly evacuated those buildings. Then the video started to come in of people hanging out of the windows, people jumping. It took a couple of days for me to absorb the horror, and when I finally got it, I did cry for two days. God bless those poor souls and the families they left behind.

After seeing the towers collapse again and hearing from the moombats "top professors" who claim explosives took them down I have a question for them
If it was true then WHERE are the real demolition experts and why don't they "blog" just as the typewriter font people did with the Rather-gate episode?
We know the answer, don't we.
Even though I'm just an observer, I've seen real demolitions and the flashes of the explosions are clearly seen, even through the smoke and dust.

I will be, yes . .
Here's what I have so far:
3 hours of video from this fox news stream is 380 Meg big.
If I run for 9 hours, that will be about 1.1 Gig.
Is that to big?
Should I stop around 700 meg so you can put it on a CD ?
Which would you all prefer?

We had an installation crew in one of the towers that day... and in DC
So YOU'RE the ones who planted those bombs that took down the towers and blamed it on those innocent Arab freedom fighters.
Heavy sarcasm

The Fox guy talking about the first WTC bombing, I was living in the NY area when that happened, and I remember it well.

When the first one came down I was thinking more about people down below, on the streets. I was afraid tens of thousands would be killed. I hardly even though of all the people still inside. I figured that must be many thousands more.
I was watching TV with coworkers when one decided he wanted to change the channel. Great timing. Someone yelled to him don't, the building is coming down. We were shocked and horrified. I almost never take the Lord's name in vain but I was so livid I blurted out "God d--m them," and I ran out of the room since I was afraid I was going to barf.

Well, my personal preference is the coverage up to about noon, because for the rest of the day, it's mainly reruns, with periodic updates from the airlines, from the President and executive departments, and correspondents. But don't stop recording the stream just for me. Is there any way you can edit afterwards, and cut a clip from the beginning until about noon?

Not the time for heavy sarcasm. The crew in the towers died.

I'll do it as 2 files, one that stops at noon, and another file that goes Noon to whenever.
Here's the thing . . my upload speed is only about 40k, and I'm concerned that if I host a file at noon, and attempt to continue to record that my bandwidth will choke up.
It might be better if I start seeding tonight, sometime.
Is that to long to wait?

That is certainly not too long to wait. I mean, it is old footage after all.

I remembering wondering why fleets of rescue helicopters didn't take turns going up to the Towers with rope ladders so that at least some of the hundreds of people standing in the windows while the fire and smoke raged behind them...may have been saved.
Such a waste of precious life.
