I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

Captured prisoner remembering secret police interrogating him and he's being offered a cigarette by the person interrogating him in the states. Worried about being beaten but he is pretty sure it won't happen in the US so he asks for an attorney.

I hope your able to listen too Rush at your new job. If at all possible, I will. If I can't, I have 24/7 and I will definitely catch it once I get home, or in the gym the following morning. I guess it depends on what I'll be doing.

not sure what you mean, I only saw one about a minute long in Iowa - two? The first was about not intending to assign individual blame. The second was about recognizing their limitations in telling the story. Both quotes were attributed to the "9/11 Commission" but the attribution appears a second or two after the quote so the viewer thinks, at first, that the quotes are disclaimers from the producers of the movie. The genius is that both quotes address the criticisms of assigning blame and limitations of the project that have been made against the movie by using quotes from the commission.
