"A banner has been posted on a number of Arabic language jihadist websites announcing the release "soon" of a message to Osama Bin Laden.
As we mentioned earlier, the banner is not the typical banner As Sahab puts out. It is a completely different design from those we've seen recently from As Sahab announcing new tapes.
Careful translation indicates that this message is from Abu Musab Abdel Waddoud of the Salafist Group for Fighing and Preaching in Algeria, to Bin Laden."

Police hunting for stolen well-service truck

Parker County sheriff's deputies want the public's help in locating a high-dollar well-service truck that was reported stolen Wednesday from a drilling site in the 4100 block of Farm Road 51, north of Weatherford.
``The truck is unique and, due to the special equipment on-board, is valued at approximately $325,000,'' according to a news release from the sheriff's department.
The 1988 International truck, white with green trim, has two water tanks on the bed, two on-board motors mounted behind the cab and a cement hopper on the back. Its Texas license plate number is 34P677. snip)

Bradford, TN- There is calm in the small town of Bradford after what could've been a dangerous situation. Just after 9:00 a.m. homeowners on old Highway 45 South were forced to evacuate. An employee at a storage facility found quite the surprise in a briefcase tucked away in one of the sheds. "All of the materials to make bombs was there," Store Owner Eric Goble says.
The F-B-I and A-T-F spent more than 6 hours on the scene where they found detonators, substances to make bombs, some of them already mixed and ready to set off, Internet instructions on how to make explosives, along with city and county maps, highlighting homes and churches in the immediate area.

Just watched "United 93" tonight. Recommend it highly. If ever there were a compelling reason for our government to drop it's PC behavior reasoning and institute profiling, this should have done it. Screening articles instead of passengers just doesn't cut it and failure to profile leaves the airlines and passengers as vulnerable today as they were on 9/11 IMHO.

Other clashes erupted in the West Bank town of Ramallah. More than 30 people, most Israeli soldiers, were hurt in the Jerusalem clashes, which began after Sharon left what Jews call the Temple Mount and Muslims call al-Haram as-Sharif, the Noble Sanctuary.
Sharon, leader of the hard-line opposition party Likud, said he had gone to the site with a message of peace. "I believe that we can live together with the Palestinians," Sharon said. Firefight In The West Bank (snip)
RAMALLAH, West Bank: In the most violent uprising since the Intifada ended in 1993, Palestinian police and Israeli soldiers engaged in gun battles Wednesday as riots raged in Jerusalem and the West Bank. At least four Palestinians, including two policemen, were killed and more than 240 were injured, including 30 who were hit by Israeli gunfire.
The outbreaks were set off by Israel's completion of an archaeological tunnel Tuesday along the Temple Mount, a site sacred to both Muslims and Jews. . .
