And the idiots in the world will say, "okay. we'll negotiate" and pat themselves on the back while Ahmadinejad and company continue to build their arsenal.

More delay tactics until they build the BOMB. The Europeans, the Russians and the Chinese will cowardly welcome this deception and delay tactics. It is up to us to say "Screw you Iran", your time for negotiations is up.

Look what Ahmadinejad said just 7 days ago:

If you want to have good relations with the Iranian people in the future, you should acknowledge the right and the might of the Iranian people, and you should bow and surrender to the might of the Iranian people. If you do not accept this, the Iranian people will force you to bow and surrender.

That should read ten years of "serious negotiations."

..with officials saying it has offered a "new formula" to resolve the dispute.

Would this new formula involve guided tours of facilities scheduled 90 days in advance...except for facilities located on sites that are designated as "holy" by the mullahs?

Did WWIII happen last night in Iran... Aug. 22nd, going on Aug. 23rd?

Probably not, because we would win... they know this truth.

Wasn't the issue to comply or not to comply? What is there to negotiate? They were given an ultimatum and told that they needed to respond by 31 Aug. If they have failed to properly respond their "offer" should be rejected and they should be told that they have until 31 August as previously stated to indicate whether or not they will comply. What they have provided is a "non" response...

Oh damn! What am I thinking? This is the UN... never mind.

Reminds me of that skit from "Crocodile Dundee":

"Be carefull, he's got a nuclear weapon"
"Why that's not a nuclear weapon - THIS is a nuclear weapon" (as whole mountains disappear within Iran....)

One side wants to build a nuke, the other side doesn't want that to happen. What is there to negotiate?  Half a bomb?

They'll talk, they'll whine, threaten, cajole, talk more etc but they will NEVER stop until they have nukes. NEVER.

Yikes! Now we have talking televisions quoted as AP sources:
"Iran's response suggests Iran is committed to dialogue and its promises. ... It is in contrast with America's policy of unilateralism," the television said.
