I received this as an email today and felt it was worth sharing here and being distributed to those who don't support our troops or are against the WOT.
I hope the mods will leave this somewhere it can be seen

Excellent read - even after just having watched WTC. Both my wife and I feel like hungry sheepdogs although we're usually sheep - but armed sheep.

A caution. It is pointless to send this to someone you regard as a complete sheep. It is in the nature of someone in denial that someone external can't point out that denial. Only when something happens to them to force them to confront the denial are they capable of getting the message. And often not even then.

However, I liken the left to ostriches.

Great stuff. And "Fear Less" is a good book. I've seen it at some "Dollar Tree" stores here in Texas.

"It is denial that turns people into sheep. Sheep are psychologically destroyed by combat because their only defense is denial, which is counterproductive and destructive, resulting in fear, helplessness and horror when the wolf shows up. Denial kills you twice. It kills you once, at your moment of truth when you are not physically prepared: you didn't bring your gun, you didn't train. Your only defense was wishful thinking. Hope is not a strategy. Denial kills you a second time because even if you do physically survive, you are psychologically shattered by your fear, helplessness and horror at your moment of truth.
.... And so the warrior must strive to confront denial in all aspects of his life, and prepare himself for the day when evil comes."AWESOME###/`

No disrespect to our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines, BUT sheepdogs eat sheep for diner. Maybe not wholesale like wolves, but they still eat meat. I never liked this analogy. Sorry to be negative.

Only when something happens to them to force them to confront the denial are they capable of getting the message. And often not even then.I'd send it to them anyhow. I will never give up trying to teach truths to those who are blind to it. Who knows, maybe one of these days I'll catch them when they aren't wearing their rose-colored glasses. ;)
