Buchanan Declares: Third World Conquest of America
Drudge Report ^ | August 20, 2006 | Matt Drudge

“As Rome passed away, so, the West is passing away, from the same causes and in much the same way. What the Danube and Rhine were to Rome, the Rio Grande and Mediterranean are to America and Europe, the frontiers of a civilization no longer defended.”

So begins a new work of warning from Pat Buchanan.

And this time Buchanan goes all the way.

STATE OF EMERGENCY: THIRD WORLD INVASION AND CONQUEST OF AMERICA hit the streets this week and it's designed to jolt readers with stats and analysis of illegal immigration gone dangerously wild.

Buchanan warns: “The children born in 2006 will witness in their lifetimes the death of the West."

One in every twelve people breaking into America has a criminal record.

By 2050, there will be 100 million Hispanics concentrated in the U.S. Southwest.

Between 10 and 20 percent of all Mexicans, Central Americans and Caribbean people have already moved to the United States.

Every month, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehends more illegal aliens breaking into our country, 150,000, than the number of troops we have in Iraq.

[The book was ranked #571 on AMAZON's sales chart Sunday evening.]

Buchanan slams the president: “Concerned about his legacy, George W. Bush may yet live to see his name entered into the history of his country as the president who lost the American Southwest that James K. Polk won for the United States."

In EMERGENCY, Pat Buchanan charges the Mexican regime with an Aztlan Plot, a conscious campaign to use America as a dumping ground for its poor and unemployed, both to relieve social pressure and effect a cultural re-annexation of the American Southwest. La Reconquista, the reconquest of the lands lost by Mexico in the Mexican-American War, Buchanan charges, is underway.

The Republican Party, a wholly owned subsidiary of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is in the grip of a cult called “Economism.” It is all about money now. The GOP worships at the “Church of GDP”

• Both parties are paralyzed by guilt over American past racial sins.

• Powerful Mexican and U.S. elites seek to erase America’s borders and merge the United States and Mexico into a “North American Union.”

In his controversial final chapter, “Last Chance,” Buchanan lays out a national plan to deal with the State of Emergency, before it makes an end of America:

• An Eisenhower-type deportation program, beginning with all illegal aliens convicted of felonies and every gang member not a U.S. citizen.

• A ten-year moratorium on all legal immigration, at the level JFK favored in 1958 -- 150,000 to 250,000 a year.

• A $10-billion, 2000-mile double-line security fence between the United States and Mexico, built with no apologies to Mexico City.

Developing...

He was the glue that held Yugoslavia together. It fell apart after he died.

No, actually Pat isn't an "historical expert" at all and this hypothesis is wrong.

I think that his hypothesis is correct. He has the right to opine on his theories as long he can back it up.

"That lack of a national language and identity caused it to split apart."

This is what scares me about Pat. This once nut case is starting to make sense to me. Is he getting more like me or am I getting more like him?

That also goes for the people on the other side of the issue. I do not find a Nativo Lopez a credible source on the issue.

His hypothesis his riddled with factual errors; errors that anyone with even the tiniest knowledge of history, can refute with their eyes close, 1/2 asleep, and dead drunk.

He can't back up his theory at all.

I think that he is dead right on the issue. We are breaking apart as a nation. In other words "Balkanizing" America.

If he is wrong, the American public will turn him off. But, I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. But it seems to me that he is gaining traction on this issue in the public.

Traditional Rome fell; no doubt, but part of the establishment it started remains within the church. It collects taxes, dictates how people should live their lives and still influences world politics.

He may be a nut and he may even be an Anti-Semite to some. But you and others have to admit he's right on target. The United States of America is being flooded and weakened by this third world invasion, they are turning our ideals and laws upside down, they are making us even more corrupt than we already are, and are also breaking down our culture and we are even changing our language to suit them.

More like broken calendar (right once every 7 years).

Twice a day is very generous for Mr. Buchannan

I agree. For many FReepers, it's much easier to bash the messenger than refute the message.

Whether we agree with Pat Buchanan or not, I think we can all agree that immigration (both legal and illegal) is going to change life as we know it in the U.S. In the Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA), 1986: A blanket amnesty for some 2.7 million illegal aliens.

Immigration of the late 19th and early 20th centuries created substantial change, but then the ideal was the melting pot, not multi-culturalism.

I have heard estimates of anywhere from 12 to 20 million illegal aliens are in the country now. If there's another blanket amnesty and they bring their families, you're talking about 30 - 40 million additional people.

Another amnesty won't slow immigration, it will speed it just as the last one did.

Right now, school districts are struggling with the problem. Hospitals are going broke (Belaire Medical Center in Houston being a recent example). With the new influx of voters, the conservative movement will be virtually dead. The GOP will become the GOP Lite just to survive. What's the point in having English as a national language.

I don't agree with Pat on a number of issues, but if you read The Death of the West: How Dying Populations and Immigrant Invasions Threaten Our Culture and Civilization, and I doubt that many of you have, it accurately outlines how the culture of Europe has been changed since 1945.

Your conclusion was all wrong.I do not believe that we should be in a dictatorship. But, when you have a group of people who refuse to assimilate into this country by refusing to adopt the language, refuse to accept our way our life its a problem.

JMO, getting 0.4% of the Presidential vote and defending islamofascists on the lowest rated 24/7 news network is not exactly gaining traction.
