Peter King is also a staunch supporter of Sein Fein (IRA), for what it is worth (not that there is anything wrong with that?)
To: OldFriend
Either that or he is trying his best to play every side there is all the time ala his mentor... Hillary.

Hey guys...Ya'll know what a strong supporter of the President I am, but I sent him a letter this morning. I have it posted here.

If the President wants to keep this nation on track, he needs some bold moves. I suggested a few.

If the President wants to keep this nation on track, he needs some bold moves.I must be channeling your thinking, Hun, but you obviously have some actual ideas, which I will now go read.

Hah, Steffie tries to get John Reid to say that our presence in Iraq is creating more terrorists and lead to the London plot. Reid points out that Germany just stopped a plot and they don't have any ties to Iraq and that people will always make up excuses for the things they want to to anyway. Very good, Mr. Reid.

Rudy on tv,
I probably saw the same show, might have been BO'R.Rudy really impressed me, gave clear concise answers, had a real sense of direction, and supported President Bush all the way. My thoughts were, with Rudy we will continue to be safe.

Immediately she talks about how the President polls did not get a bump from the terrorist bust in UK. Well looks like the NY Treason Times Reporter is as incompetent a poll watcher as they are a "Journalists"
From Rassmussen Reports. Personally I think it has more to do with the drop in gas prices but what do I know.

Lindsay seemed to benefit greatly on his initial run for Senate by being a House Manager for Clinton's impeachment. Since then he has been drama queen. However, SC has had a big influx of NE liberals which may keep him in office. His challenge must come from the GOP in the primary. Much like Ohio put up with Dewine too long, and finally a Dem may well take the seat became Dewine has lost the support of Ohio Republicans.

Swartzkopf/Tommy Franks would be my all time pick--warriros for a time of War but realistically it's gonna be something like:
Rudy/Condi.
As long as it's not McCain or Hillary....

Week after week, it's the same group of guests on these shows. Why don't the others show up and express their opinions? It's simple, they don't get invited. As Tomguy points out in #87, the DBM invite the people on who will give them the answers they want in order to advance their agenda, much the way a lawyer only puts on witnesses who he knows will give him answers that help his position. The difference is, in a court of law an opposition lawyer gets to cross examine the witness and elicit contrary data or discredit the witness.
We have to serve that role for these shows.
AB! and I have referred to our little group as the Jedi Council of FreeRepublic. Maybe that's the wrong analogy. Maybe we need to think of ourselves as opposing council representing the nation against the DBM.

My favorite part of the interview was when Chris Wallace compared Hagel to Ned Lamont (in regards to their similar stated stance on several issues). The look on Chuckie's face was priceless!
It softened (somewhat) the disgust that was rising in me over this klowns triangulation at Bush's expense. Wallace points out that Hagel's recent stances (via his voting record) is a huge left turn. Hagel gets upset and insists that his "conservative credentials" speak for themselves. Of course he frames it in the context of 12 years of Senate service, not his choices within the last two or three years. Chuckie, your chances of snatching the presidential golden ring are slim to none!
