I suspect the tone will be similar to the one that came out of this building.
Unless President Asshat or his Little Runt of a buddy across the road in Tehran have suddenly developed oratorical skills that have been undetected to this point, there is nothing they can say that will bring the masses around to their point of view, because quite frankly: they are NOT Hitler.
They may admire Hitler's demented world view, and they may aspire to a "world without Israel", but Hitler was in fact, an amazing orator, his skills were impressive and he knew how to 'connect' with his audiences.
Neither of those morons in Syria or Iran have even a fraction of that sort of ability, which means that instead of listening to powerful speeches and the ever-increasing roar of the brainwashed crowds, we are subjected to the "Ahmadjihad Blog" where that little asswipe's first blog entry included a promise to confine his future comments to "15 minutes".
In the pantheon of dictators, quite frankly the world is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I didn't know about that. Do you know of any good reading that would have details on that battle?

This is what "peace treaties" bring. A war must have a winner and a loser. Any other outcome is a farce.

I doubt Syria could take it back from the IDF at any cost.
Me too.
Take back the Golan? In your dreams, Assad, in your dreams!
The Golan!
Forever Israel!

I doubt Syria could take it back from the IDF at any cost.If it weren't for the fact that many Israelis would likely die in the effort, I'd almost want Syria to try, so we could watch them get their heads handed to them on a platter.

Makes sense... Israel has managed to show what the terrorists see as weakness. They've invited and invation from Syria, and increased terrorist attacks on all fronts.

Olmert's not a Republican and in fact not even an American. Take this where it belongs: Israel wimped out, Olmert is a notorious lefty whose entire family is active in left-wing "peace" causes in Israel, and he obviously had no heart to go through with it. Bush can only do so many things, and running a foreign country (Israel) is not one of them.Exactly. I read a report that Olmert quashed an IDF plan to invade Lebanon from north of the river, as well as destroying the Hezbo headquarters in a first strike, which would have beheaded the Hezbos leadership, as well as cutting the terrorists off from both retreat and resupply.

Maybe they are trying to move on to the Golan Heights and then negociate an in place cease fire, that way getting some of the land back.
To: MarkL
They've invited and invation from Syria, and increased terrorist attacks on all fronts. MarkL, you are spot-on. The hezbollah terrorist scumbags must be watching all of this and laughing their asses off.
At this rate, they will win, with the support of the anti-Israeli group known as the UN.
I really had hoped that Israel finally flipped-the-bird to those assholes about a month ago.
I guess not.

Why not?
Isreal has already lost the war with Hezzies.
Arabs understand weakness, and the weak leadership of Isreal is pretty obvious.

Sounds like an invitation for Israel to go all the way to Damascus.Like the picture of the muslim demonstration: "Please kick our asses."

As per cease-fire agreement Israel gives up the Shabaa Farms region to Syria.
Israel lost this one.
