Today at 8 pm Eastern, at the request of Iran, the entire unedited (and unhinged) version of Mike Wallace’s interview with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be broadcast on C-SPAN.
I found it interesting that Ahmadinejad was bemoaning the fact that we have not had any dialogue in the past 26 or 27 years. Wallace failed to note that the Iranians took over our embassy on November 4, 1979 and held our diplomats hostage for 444 days. They have turned the embassy grounds into an anti-American museum.
And Wallace could have mentioned that we know Ahmadinejad was one of the kidnappers/guards.
I'm amazed at how many people think Wallace was rude and disrespectful.
That is still a matter of some dispute. I know that a couple of the former hostages have said that, but the USG has said that it could not confirm that to be the case. It would have been a good question for Wallace to ask.
Don't know where there's a transcript but they are replaying both edited and unedited interviews tonight at 11 eastern.
Who cares what Abadabadoo has to say or Wallace for that matter. A couple of Anti-America, Jew hating Bigots.
