D.C. CHAPTER ANNOUNCES SUPPORT THE TROOPS & THEIR MISSION RALLY 9/23/06

The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com invites all those who support our troops and their mission fighting the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere at home and abroad to join us in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 23, 2006, from noon to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Washington Monument at 17th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW.

With the media, liberal politicians and leftist-led so-called antiwar protesters doing everything they can to bring about America's defeat, it is imperative that those of us who love this country do everything in our power to ensure America's victory and her survival as a free republic.

Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was in Iraq last week trying to assure the troops that they still have the support of the American people. The troops are aware of what happened during Vietnam and they are concerned the country will do the same to them. All they see in the news overseas is antiwar protests because our side doesn't turn out in sufficient numbers when when pro-mission rallies are held.

We are hoping to change this for once by giving folks five weeks notice to plan accordingly. Everyone has their excuses as to why they can't take a day off from their busy lives to send a public message of support for our troops and their mission. Well, after five years of hearing those excuses and with the fate of the nation in the balance, I think it's time to bag the excuses and take a day off and devote it coming to Washington to send a message of support not just to the troops, but to their Commander-in-Chief, the nation and the world.

Also, by turning out you will send a strong message to our enemies abroad and at home that we have not lost our will and that we will not be defeated in Iraq, Afghanistan or anywhere.

Please make the commitment to attend and help spread the word about the rally to your families, friends and co-workers.

As we have done in the past with these rallies, the members of the D.C. Chapter will be digging in to their own pockets to put the rally on, but we could use help. If you'd like to contribute, please click here. We'd like to be able to promote the rally with 10 second radio ads in the D.C. area to help get the word out beyond the Internet. We will also be reaching out to other groups like we did with last September's rally.

I want to thank all our FRiends who have joined and helped us in the past. We hope you'll be able to join us again next month.

and SCREAMED!!!! and Blood Ran out of their Mouths and Ears as they were CRUSHED by TONS of Concrete!!! and FIRE!! Until Mercifully the Shear Weight and Mass of 100+ stories fell upon them in STILL IN 3-5 Seconds of Froozen Horror!! and THEN silenced their screams--

" Things to do...."---I mention there are THREE DAYS- offered: That Sat-Sun- and then the 14th they
could show up for to SHOW THEIR SUPPORT!!....

and all they do now is stumble-looking for ANOTHER Lame excuse NOT to show up now.

I think that FREEPERS--ANNND other " Groups " would have a GREAT Opportunity by Meeting Up --or even goping down ALONE to at least ONE of those 9/11 Memeorial days--

If for nothing else--just to MEET NEW PEOPLE--

who they can get to Also JOIN IN for the DC Rally this year!

THERE SHOULD BE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS Going to DC this year!!!

It HAD been a HARD "FIGHT" in 2004--alot of people used up alot of "FAVORS" with Work-Bosses--Family: Wives/Husbands-
and OTHER Personal Obligations--and a Hrad fight the last few months too for those with other Rallies--

and maybe it is BECAUSE this recent last year--I WAS
" Blessed " and WAS ABLE to walk away HEALTHY & SUCCESFULLY from something in my life that some others aren't as fortunate enough to let fate let them do----that I CAN Sit here and type away TODAY ( minus a few (HA!) pounds and sanity of course ) with a DIFFERENT and Still FRESH
" Drive and DETERMINATION: where my OATH/PLEDGE between GOD & Myself IS STILL FRESH--

that "I" hold a Different--more"Urgent" view of
" GETTING INVOLVED" and speaking out--that I DO sound like I am being TOO "Gun-HO" about "Rallies"--

But the TIME to start in with planning--organizing--getting our Groups together and formed is NOW!!
When it IS Quiet!! and there IS "TIME" to make Friends--get people connected so when we DO Need them--we know where we can call & find them!!
( You don't wait til Just before an assult to clean your
chambers and check your stock for extra ammo!)

The "Big-Event" is the " D.C. Rally"???

WHAT will the "media"--or Regular " fense-sitting" Americans THINK about joining--following--"REPORTING" on THAT event--

Who Died that day!!

Is that how YOU would want to be "Remembered"??
Or how you'd want YOUR MISSING LOVED ONES to be " Remembered"???

That YOUR Families or Public "MEMORIAL" was "Passed-by" cause someone told you that they:
"..couldn't get the day off.."--yet They'd cop-out of work to have their r PHOTO Taken & signed for at a CONCERT??!!
So you can BRAG that you were " part of it .."?

I just saw a THREAD started on another CONSERVATIVE WEB SITE board that said," What HAPPENED? to our Club Here??
WHERE is everyone??...are we going to still EXIST anymore..."--what aboutthe Conservative Movement?

At least for those on the NORTH-EASTERN New York/Conn/NJ
areas---EVIL CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO WIN--just because there seems to be a " Blue-State " ; defeatist mentality.

While those on the WEST COAST! --The REAL Heart of Liberalism--THEY seem to be " Out There " protesting--SURROUNDED by Liberals!! every DAY!!

When I do post all the LINKS to the various Orgs and clubs that are planning Rallies for 9/11-- I DO hope I see HUNDREDS If not THOUSANDS of Posts for those asking to MEET UP with eachother.!

---it WILL Be a " Hard " day--it will be a " Severe-Testing-Trying-Emotional GUT-Wrenching Day "...
But it is ALSO just " ONE DAMN DAY " that EVERYONE who calls Him/Herself a "CONSERVATIVE" SHOULD make!

My remaining Brother will be in his wheel Chair ( bad car accident--won't be out til end of Sept!) with a sign I will get him--INFRONT on the SIDEWALK--so passing cars at least can see him & his Poster,
