They've been waiting for decades for the time when they could act to remove Israel - their fathers and grandfathers tried and failed - but now probably does appear to be their best shot, emboldened by Hezbolla & Iran, knowing where the U.S. is on the battlefield (rather than having to guess), knowing that if they lose probably the worst case is a bunch of unanticipated extra UN economic aid - they may be correct that now is their best time to strike...
