I ask my fellow freepers indulgence for this vanity, because I believe it is too important to be buried in the back of the forum.
Can a good Muslim be a good American? I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation...perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The war is bigger than most Americans know or understand.
We aren't talking about Christians... and the only reason you did was to defame them by some cultural Marxist equivalence.
Shovel that stuff somewhere else...
Death to the Islamofascists and their running dog lackeys.
We are not in Ireland...
I want them to accept that, if they live HERE, then they had better accept that they live according to OUR laws.
I can easily live in peace with them if they can accept all those things, but I will never, ever trust them. "
Unfortunately if we do nothing and live in peace with them, when it is all said and done we will end up living under THEIR SHARIA LAW
The bombers and the riots and gang rapes and all of the terrorism is designed to intimidate and create reluctance in the hearts of those who might respond with force. Meanwhile if the peace lovers get their way the Muslims win with demographics.
Look around the world, everywhere they are a majority they start acting out and flexing their muscle. As soon as they become the majority in a neighborhood they start pushing people around. In this country it will be easier because they can control us with the vote.
The solutions are easy to come by once the problem is recognized and addressed.
A MUSLIM by definition is one who practices ISLAM
:)Easy Does It:)
We're not in Iraq, or Saudi Arabia, or Somalia, either.
Are we supposed to know this person? What is his evidence?
My cousin was killed on 9-11.
Political Correctness has replaced free speach even here at Freepers.
Sooner of later it (political correctness) will kill even more Americans.
Thanks to people like you "Bub"
LOL!! I am talking about Christians who don't condemn murderous actions by other Christians.
And, you know what? Their number is very high.
It is not "politically correct" to insist that collective guilt not be imputed to people who have no connection whatsoever to terrorism.
I'm sorry about your cousin, but my Muslim neighbor had nothing to do with his death.
You're flinging the statistics pretty freely there. 99.5% of muslim apologists just make it up as they go.
Post your contrary statistics, then.
A large enough percentage of Muslims are hard line enough that I am convinced they don't belong in the free world....send them back to their sand pile....
But of course that won't happen...so when that cell phone goes off...and that bomb explodes I will think of you sir and your enabling remarks, your reasons for defending a demographic that is out to destroy the west although noble don't match the reality the world is facing...perhaps you should apply for work with the ACLU
Certainly there are "Good" Muslims....but there is no one that can point them out consistantly.
Unfortunately, good muslims are actually poor or mediocre in their faith....now ain't that the rat's banana?
Not exactly an objective site. I can pull up a number of Islamic sites saying just the opposite.
We also have a BUNCH of good Muslims who have proven to be VERY good Americans by giving their lives over in the sand box fighting our enemies every day.
The same could be said about Christians.
You continue to insist on villifying all Muslims for actions of a very few.
And you want to blame me for the next terrorist attack.
You need help. Seriously.
Yeah, and I'll be ready for the next Christain attack via the airports. No, only Muslim extremists do this shiate...not us!
If you are not willing to fight for them, you have already abandoned them and everyone who still has them.
I never said I wasn't willing to fight for American ideals. I just said I wasn't willing to abandon those ideals.
What is up with you?
The number of Muslims who support the actions of the terrorists is hardly "just a few". My guess is that the percentage is probably as large as that of German-Americans who from 1914-1917 supported the German cause. I do know that the hassling that Muslims are getting is nothing like what German-Americans in San Antonio were subjected to in 1917-1919.
Has anyone else heard of sme muslims wanting to be ab;e to commit what we consider crimes like rape of their daughters, killing their daughters etc in the name of religion because of religious freedom?
