I ask my fellow freepers indulgence for this vanity, because I believe it is too important to be buried in the back of the forum.
Can a good Muslim be a good American? I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation...perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The war is bigger than most Americans know or understand.
Tough question, because there are some who are an asset to our country. However, in my experience, these are the "bad muslims" who drink alcohol and don't really care about their faith. They are here to find freedom and make money, and they blend in very well as a rule.
True faithful Muslims are a great danger to our country and indeed to all of civilization. We need to take steps to keep them out, with no more regret or guilt than we would feel in building a fence to keep coyotes out of our chicken coops. There is no inherent right for any alien to set foot on our shores, but only a privilege that this sovereign country may grant or revoke as it sees fit. We should feel no guilt about cutting off essentially all immigration from seething Muslim pest holes like Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. We should also make certain that immigrants from Western nations with faithful Muslim backgrounds are denied entry. In particular, we should not be allowing any imams or mullahs to pollute our society.
Of course, those Muslim non-citizens who are already here should be expelled without any appeals or recompense if they are caught committing a crime or advocating jihad. Even jaywalking or a parking ticket ought to be enough to earn any Muslim non-citizen a one-way ticket back to the Dar al-Islam. This is a far more important job for the immigration authorites than chasing poor hard-working Mexicans.
I'd favor a Consitutional amendment if necessary, to ensure that Constitutional rights like freedom of religion pertain only to citizens. Rabble-rousing non-citizens who come here to spread jihad should be summarily sent back to ther home countries on the next boat.
We have made a fetish of diversity and non-discrimination in the West, and it will be the death of us if we do not abandon it soon. We need to believe in the inherent superiority of Western civilization, without shame or apology, and take whatever steps we deem necessary to maintain it.
Perhaps these steps would be enough to reverse the tide of anger that is swelling against Muslims in the West. I doubt it though. Enoch Powell was right. Opening the borders of Christendom to the flotsam and jetsam of the Third World was a huge mistake that will end in rivers of blood.

Have you read about what Muslims did in India?
They killed MILLIONS more then were killed in WWI and WWII during the mughal takeover of the Hindus. Historians estimate around 70 MILLION Hindus were slaughtered.
Everyone should read "The Legacy of Jihad" by Andrew Bostom to fully understand that Islam is not, and has never been, a religion of peace.

A very poor showing. Compare that to the Filipinos, or even Canadians in our services. The Muslims are freeloaders on the liberty my ancestors bought at great cost in blood and treasure.

Interesting that 42% of American Christians consider themselves Christians first, then Americans.
Even the old Roman COnstitution allowed for the Senate to declare an individual to be dictator during times of national emergency...Except it was only supposed to be for six months maximum. THat's when Ceaser declared himself dictator for life.
The conflict between a perceived need for centralized authority and other laws in times of emergency will always conflict with the freedoms we hold dear.
However, there are no freedoms if we do not survive to enjoy them.

To obey the just laws of that Republic, and to participate fully in the governance of that Republic. This participation includes opposing the policies and laws of that Republic, when such policies and laws are morally offensive.

The laws of this Republic do not inform my Christian Faith. Quite the contrary. My Christian Faith informs the manner in which I carry out my duties as a citizen of the United States.

I have lived over nine years in Islamic countries. I don't accept generalizations and stereotypes that smear 1.2 billion people, the vast majority of whom are peaceful and not terrorists.
