Just consider the security precautions on this day.
The POTUS is speaking on the tarmac. How much more secure can that be?

President George W. Bush walks on the tarmac to his limousine...Actually, in one of the light moments in a disturbing day, after the President made his remarks, he turned and started walking away -- almost as though he was determined to show his determination by walking to the event. You could hear the limo in the background gun the engine to catch up to him, whereupon he stopped and let the car catch up to him, LOL!

Thanks, it certainly has been a day with extended news bulletins and Sky News suspended all adverts for while to give continuous coverage.

No. She has to call the airline in the morning and see if she can book it for another day.
It stinks.

Dad saw that and in his opinion he thought that he had gone the wrong way naturally being preoccupied with much after that statement.
Apparently he then changed direction and went towards the limo.

Thanks, snugs. That photo definitely is one of the all-time Dose favorites. Barney's expression is priceless. Dubya's arm is caught up in the dog's leash and his little leg. But Dubya's salute is still sharp. LOL!

Oh, and how did Heathrow get the name Heathrow? Always wondered. I love British place names.

The inconvenience that your daughter has been put to is exactly the disruption that these terrorists want. They know they do not have the power to beat us military but they do have the power to disrupt and of course kill and maim.

Pretty weird stuff today. Thank goodness for our great friend and ally, the British people.
Does anyone remember the dose the other day where President Bush was at his ranch with Steven Hadley doing a teleconference with Tony Blair. The pieces are starting to fix together, huh?

It's a cheddar cheese hat.
To: DebWisconsin
wonder how this came together without the NYT or CBS getting a leak from the CIA or the FBI????
To: snugs
She had some interesting thoughts, snugs.
She feels the tension in England between the Muslims and the rest of the people. Even those who aren't 'anti-Muslim' are getting fed up with what's been going on there.
She's wondering if there might not be an increase in trouble because even moderate people are sick of what's going on.
If this plot had succeeded, I can't imagine how angry people would be.
What do you think from your perspective?
