they don't want to live side-by-side in peace with other nations.

What a load of Crap! I don't recall anyone in our government calling for the complete destruction of another nation, like....hmmm.....I don't know Israel for instance. Oh wait didn't Ahmadinejad call for the desctruction of Israel?

You just know he isn't going to be asked about that, what the hell is CBS doing over there interviewing that nutsack? Why oh why can't we talk the MSM into becoming suicide bombers? How cool would it be if he walked into the interview and Wallace pulled a stick of TNT out of his butt and blew them all the heck!

CBS hurt themselves with the Rather/Mapes scandal big time -- and they deserved it, and more. Now they are trying to build ratings, by doing anything, and everything as usual, to get in the way of this administration.

Interviewing this pig was a mistake, but they cannot comprehend that.

Is Mike going to wear a Burka in the interview? Or is he just going to go down on his knees and bob awhile?

another "Hitler was a good painter" interview

http://powerlineblog.com/archives/014964.php

August 10, 2006
Did He Get An Autograph?

Tonight CBS Evening News will air the first part of Mike Wallace's interview with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We've already gotten a preview, however, of Wallace's impressions of the Iranian leader:

Of Ahmadinejad, Wallace said, "He's an impressive fellow, this guy. He really is. He's obviously smart as hell."

Wallace said he was surprised to find that the Iranian president was still a college professor who taught a graduate-level course.

"You'll find him an interesting man," he said. "I expected more of a firebrand. I don't think he has the slightest doubt about how he feels ... about the American administration and the Zionist state. He comes across as more rational than I had expected."

This is reminiscent of the way journalists and others would react after meeting Hitler. He wasn't a raving lunatic, like I expected! He was calm! Rational! Even Charming! (I wonder whether Ahmadinejad is a vegetarian.) What did Wallace expect? That a village idiot somehow ended up running a nation of 68 million?

Then there's this:

"He's actually, in a strange way, he's a rather attractive man, very smart, savvy, self-assured, good looking in a strange way," Wallace said. "He's very, very short but he's comfortable in his own skin."

What is this, a Tiger Beat interview? Just once, I wish MSM reporters would adopt the same adversarial attitude toward foreign leaders who are deadly enemies of the United States that they take toward members of the Bush administration.

I suppose it's possible that the interview, when it airs, will be a useful piece of journalism, but based on the previews, it doesn't appear likely.

We are all free to choose. But please give him this message, sir: Those who refuse to accept an invitation will not have a good ending or fate.

LOL! What a maroon.

"Today is the era of thoughts, dialogue and cultural exchanges."

Like this?

Iranian leader bans usage of foreign words Sat. 29 Jul 2006 Associated Press TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered government and cultural bodies to use modified Persian words to replace foreign words that have crept into the language, such as "pizzas" which will now be known as "elastic loaves," state media reported Saturday. The presidential decree, issued earlier this week, orders all governmental agencies, newspapers and publications to use words deemed more appropriate by the official language watchdog, the Farhangestan Zaban e Farsi, or Persian Academy, the Irna official news agency reported. The academy has introduced more than 2,000 words as alternatives for some of the foreign words that have become commonly used in Iran, mostly from Western languages. The government is less sensitive about Arabic words, because the Quran is written in Arabic. Among other changes, a "chat" will become a "short talk" and a "cabin" will be renamed a "small room," according to official Web site of the academy.

The time of the bomb is in the past, it's behind us. Today is the era of thoughts, dialogue and cultural exchanges.

Shall we test this , Mr. AhMadejurday?

Wallace was happy to hear Ahmadinejad tell him that when he takes over the world, he would show him mercy. Ahmadinejad promised Mike that instead of the usual slow and painful knife method, he will chop off his head with a chainsaw.

Didn't Mike Wallace run over to Iraq right before our troops went in, and interview Saddam Hussein too and then came back and told us what a stand up guy Saddam was? Or am I thinking of another evil old news whore?
