I'm home....sometimes I work 7, but the weekends are my choice. I just can't face Monday with so much undone. This past few weeks have been really bad, but some changes may be in the offing. Time will tell. For now, I look at it as one more payment on something.

My experience in Berlin was pretty much the same...mostly Turks...but this place was just outside US HQ on Clay Allee, and was run by Italians.
The pizza wouldn't compare to a New York pizza, but it was good. Their lasagna, OTOH, was awful.
They cracked an egg in between layers right before putting it into the over, and baked it that way. It was really nasty biting into that...

That's a good way to look at it, I guess. They had better appreciate you around there, that's all I know! No one else would do that kind of work! Hope it gets easier pretty soon, though.
What kind of ice cream did ya get? :D

That lasagna just sounds nasty! Ick...an egg? We had some in Italy..can't remember where and they didn't do that. It was awfully bland, though..as was the pizza. Just cheese and tomato sauce. I wonder if Pizza Hut has invaded Italy?

I love good pizza, no matter where it comes from! I even LOVE Chicago pizza. It's better than anything I've ever had anywhere (except for New York pizza).
Ooooh, the nasty egg story... Once when I was in Frankfurt I ate a "Sophia Loren" pizza (an individual portion of pizza with two eggs sunnyside up on top) at a Turkish pizzeria. OMG, did I ever get sick. Thought I was gonna die, lol.

Cruised in and out of MickeyDs and got a vanilla cone. I can just finish it before I turn into my driveway. d:o)

Well, it would be interesting. There are a lot more choices at Pizza Hut.
They HAVE invaded Thailand. It's one of the few places my son would eat when I took him there several years ago....Thai food turned him off. However, he was a teenager at the time, and wasn't very brave at trying new things.

Ah, the adventures of foreign travel...
I was way too young to remember Italy, but the first spaghetti I remember came from a small restaurant in Tripoli. Pretty good stuff to a kid, it came in a large metal bowl and was served family-style.
