Those ideas are 10-15 years from supplying power. The interim years would be the end of this country. BUT, we need to start NOW. If we do, the very act of self supply might change some mid-east minds (and venezuelan)!

Couldn't agree more, and add to the list even the tree-hugging technologies like solar, wind, and bio-diesel-- whatever it takes. We've got to stop being dependent on murderous madmen for essential resoures.
