In light of the recent UK terrorism arrests I'm going back a couple of weeks to one of penguino's posts. For some reason the post keeps gnawing at me, especially this paragraph:

Arrests prompt more Mich. bridge patrols

CARO, Mich. (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard has increased patrols near the bridge connecting Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas after prosecutors said they believe three men jailed on terrorism charges were targeting the 5-mile-long span.
Tuscola County Prosecutor Mark E. Reene said investigators believe the men were targeting the Mackinac Bridge. He declined to say what led investigators to that belief.
"The additional patrols are being conducted to deter, detect and allow for a more timely response to any possible threats made to the bridge," the Coast Guard said in a statement Sunday.....

I did see that report. Pizza? Yeah right. Yet they insist that their are no terror ties to the students (even though they're spread out in like 5 different states). I'm sure this isn't the last we'll be hearing about these guys.
By now, you've probably read the news that the three Palestinians caught in Caro, Michigan with 1,000 TracFone cellphones are involved in a plot to blow up Michigan's Mackinac Bridge (it connects both Michigan peninsulas). Mackinac Bridge site here.
But here's what you didn't read:
Sources tell DebbieSchlussel.com that the men are from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the group that works in concert with HAMAS in performing homicide bombings in Israel. The group once even considered merging with HAMAS, at the time that it was headed by University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian, a founder of the group. Maybe now sleepy Americans will awaken to note that Palestinian terrorism is not just Israel's problem. It's America's.
Sources say the plot was uncovered because law enforcement personnel observed two or more other men videotaping the Mackinac Bridge.

And as a follow-on, if Hamas is sticking their fingers in our food, does that mean we get to wipe their smarmy little faces off the earth once and for all?
Boy, I sure don't know. I'm of the view that something will happen when they have the opportunity and they don't get caught. I am concerned about August 22nd, give or take a few days. Of course I don't want anything to happen tomorrow - my brother is on an airplane back to Europe and I'm on a plane early September. Ugh.

The upcoming "Snakes on a Plane" movie had nothing on these highly toxic human beings who call themselves jihadis and who are every bit as lethal as the most poisonous serpent on the planet.
And unless airport scanning equipment includes full body scans, the possibility of body cavities being used for other than their intended use is something that must not be overlooked.

Snip: SUSPECTED terrorists have been carrying out training exercises in some of England and Wales's most popular national parks, British newspaper The Guardian has reported, citing unnamed security sources.
According to the newspaper, undercover detectives, believed to be from London's Metropolitan Police's anti-terrorist branch, have been monitoring groups of around 20 men, some of whom have known terrorist connections.
The suspected terrorists have been carrying out their exercises, which did not involve explosives or weapons training, in the Lake District, in northwest England, and investigators have apparently built up evidence to be passed on to government prosecutors.
"Police believe they have clear evidence that the men were preparing for a mission of some sort" instead of vacationing, said The Guardian.
