I agree with you on that. I'm not sure it's true either. This time line that CNN loves to talk about doesn't seem to reflect battlefield priorities of the Israelis. Olmert indicated he wanted much more than what an political time table would allow.

Again it all depends on us or more precisely G W Bush. If he keeps sending the Israelis ship loads of smart bombs and fuel for their tanks then the rest of the world community can go pound sand. If the president goes squishy then Israel is going to face an ammunition and fuel problem after a few weeks of maximum effort. It all depends on if George decides he is compassionate or conservative this week. I want to think he is going to be the guy that stood among the ruins of the WTC and said we will not tire, we will not falter. But he is also be the guy who won't defend out own souther border and let Ted Kennedy write the school program.

Since when did Israel care about flack from the INternational Community. They have international law in their favor.

The only nations who care about international flack are those nations completely controlled by Liberal Socialists, like France.

Thankfully Israel doesn't have that problem, because Israeli liberal socialists realize, finally, that she must fight if she is to survive as a nation. Our liberal socialists are not quite as bright as that.
