I'm not so sure this is true.

Again it all depends on us or more precisely G W Bush. If he keeps sending the Israelis ship loads of smart bombs and fuel for their tanks then the rest of the world community can go pound sand. If the president goes squishy then Israel is going to face an ammunition and fuel problem after a few weeks of maximum effort. It all depends on if George decides he is compassionate or conservative this week. I want to think he is going to be the guy that stood among the ruins of the WTC and said we will not tire, we will not falter. But he is also be the guy who won't defend out own souther border and let Ted Kennedy write the school program.

Syria has been bugging Pres. Bush by meddling in Iraq for a good while. I think it's his turn to stick it to Syria and cause them to twist uncomfortably for awhile.

AHA!!! Trying to hijack our thread??? ;^)

Seriously...seems illegal immigration has been knocked off the front page and surely knocked off the right side bar in here.

Ah well...perhaps they plugged the hole at the border. /s

A decent analysis. The one thing we have going for us is the knowledge that he doesn't back down (even when we want him to...as on immigration).

Bush is not going to go "squishy"

IMO Israeli Intel knew Hizbolah, Syria and Iran were going to provoke something. Bush and Olmert were ready to use the provocation to pound the terrorists. Bush cannot rest since 911 until every last bastard terrorist has his virgins.
