Suffer the Little Children to Come Unto Me
"And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
(Mark 10:13-14)
Jesus did not say suffer the children to come unto Him, except those born to Muslim parents. Remember the children of Beslan, Russia? The people to blame for this morning's tragedy are the Islamofacist ADULTS, men who commit wanton slaughter and the women -- the women who let their men strap bombs on their children, and who teach their children to commit murder-suicide. Condem them, but pray for the innocents, for whom there is NO choice.
Excellent observation...took a look at the pics after you pointed this out. I agree...something fishy here.
This is one of the most famous photos of the early period of WWII. It was reproduced in newspapers around the world. A Chinese child cries after a Japanese bombing raid on Shanghai's South Station, August 28, 1937.
What was the objective of the bombs, what was the target? Of, course, Israel is incapable of error, at least on these pages. They can even attack American Naval vessels, kill our sailors, and walk away pure as wind driven snow.
Its getting old
So true.
MSNBC's Richard Engle saw the bodies, he explained they looked as if they had died from "percussion injuries" because they weren't mangled, but bleeding from nose and mouth.
It's so ghoulish displaying dead bodies like that, for political gain, and did you notice how few tears were being shed over those little lost lives?
Hizzbollah is flush with money from Iran and Syria. They could have transported women and children out of danger zones....if they'd wanted to. And if Hizzbollah really believed Israel was a threat, why didn't they build bomb shelters for the people they wouldn't get out of their combat areas. For 6 years, they built fortifications from which to wage war, but they built nothing to secure the lives of their children.
Children to them are nothing but sacrifices at the alter of their moon god.
Hi mystery. You, Mike and one or two others are giving me some hope we aren't all so blinded by bloodlust that our hearts don't ache for these children -- and we can't spare even a whispered prayer for their souls.
Now,the innocent Israelis are going to stop the bombing for 48 hours. What a great war, the world is sure safer. Well, not for the kids, but they were warned, right?
The Good Lord took these innocents directly to His breast!I sure wouldn't want to be one of the Islamo A**H*LES who got them killed!!
Well said. Children do not get to choose sides, and we should indeed remember to pray for the innocent . It's also good to be reminded of the reality that gets obscured by catchy slogans.

I couldn't bare to look at all the photos...all I see are dead babies...innocents......I just want to hug my grandsons and thank God we live in the USA.....
Considering some of the Pali frauds perpetrated on the press, I can't help wondering how and when these victims died.
It's a question without an answer, because we can't know the future. We live in the here and now. When a toddler is killed in a bombing, or on a plane crashed into the Pentagon (which did happen), or is murdered by some child molester, or even by the kid's own parents, we can't ever know how that child would have turned out if he or she had lived.
What we do know is that, as a toddler, the child is innocent and his life can be shaped by the adults around him as he grows.
Not all of those dead children might have grown up to be Hitlerian. Some might have grown up to be great people who helped bring peace and understanding to the peoples of their region. We'll never know.
Photos of dead children are always disgusting and tragic and these, no doubt, will conjure a lot sympathy for the terrorists in Lebanon. As for me, I just see a lot of would-be suicide bombers who will never meet their blessed prophet. Flame me if you must!
I can't bring myself to hate kids, especially toddlers...
Let's take a moment of silence for the Yates children, and for the Routier children.
