Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
I AM SO TICKED!
I was laying in bed- just lingering on the verge of conscienceness......I could here the TV...(FOX on)
I heard them talking of all the "civilian" deaths.
maybe because I wasn't watching- but just listening- I picked up on it more quickly than I normally would- but I heard the blond bimbo.....she said the following with the biggest smile on her face.....
"It makes you wonder just how ENRAGED the Arab nations are going to be............especially since some of them almost defended Israel's right to defend herself."
I couldn't believe my ears! WHAT THE HELL!? IS THIS FUNNY TO HER!?
Is this some little GAME to her? Does she feel like a sybling who has just went and told on her sister and can't wait to see how much trouble she gets into? THAT is EXACTLY what her tone was like...not to mention-- How dare she GOAD Arabs on- into being "ENRAGED." Why not the Arabs should be ENRAGED that HEZBULLAH HIDE under SKIRTS and in BABY CARRIAGES!
Why not the Arabs be ENRAGED that these terrorists incite violence on a daily basis- screaming "Death to America" and "Death to Israel"- march in the streets- talk all tough- then they START this war- and suddenly they are hiding......
I am SO TICKED!
that little blond bimbo is lucky she is NYC........VERY LUCKY! I am sick of the media thinkging that this is some kind of joke. I am sick of them giving CPR to terrorist and constantly breathing life and hope into the enemy...costing COUNTLESS lives- of civilians (on both sides of this war) and our troops.....
I am just SICK OF IT!
"The one thing Israel doesn't need yet is to give into a ceasefire or temporary truce demand."
According to reports, Israel will continue the defense of their country. Great news!
I think some folks just like to say cease fire because it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
It must be another "take" - LOL
The guy I saw earlier was wearing a strategically ripped white shirt and light colored pants.
Glad to hear your words about Greg. The truth needs to be told. It must have been quite a task for him to do it, considering the circumstances.
Damn straight.

Remember a couple of weeks ago? This was in Gaza. There was a stike on a building there in the middle of the night and FNC got its video crew to the hospital in time to see victims being brought in by ambulance. Only problem was that none of the vics had received any care on the way to the hospital. They were all squeeky clean, no dust, no blood. And the toddlers are looked like they'd been woken up from a nap. (They were adorable kids, BTW. Pity their parents are such self-destructive morons.) And I do recall hearing (I don't have a boobus in here so I was hearing about parts of the video I didn't see) that one guy arriving there jumped off his stretcher, too.
Yes, I was aware of the grand jury duty, but reports on the sites that cover the "behind the scenes" activities at the cable news outlets suggests that Knowles may not be returning to his weather gig. I do think that he added a little bit of color to the morning broadcast, and he has the kind of personality that should be in front of the camera. Kiran has always been liberal, but all in all, she strikes me as a compassionate person and a very real person, not fake or canned. If they are replaced, I think it will be a loss for the morning show.
I would miss Kiran Chetry. There have been rumors of a big shakeup at Fox and it does seem obvious that Laura Ingraham is being given a "tryout". Fox has slipped a bit in the ratings so this shouldn't be a surprise. Also I think CNN may be making some gains right now because they don't have Shep (a big negative for Fox IMHO), and the O'reilly, Sean and Greta formats to filter their news through. More straight (but biased of course) news coverage on CNN than Fox for much of the day.

Solana! Kiss IDF's grits!
"The Islamic countries have no RESPECT for a woman."
I kind of like the fact that they are forced to deal with a woman and a black woman at that.
You know that's got to chap their hides....
Oh, you've missed the fun. So, there's no men? Then they sure have some very ugly un-burka'ed women being carried around on stretchers there. We've been laughing at a Fox tape from Greg - actually there are now two known tapes showing "rescuers" carrying male "victims" around. As the camera starts to pan away, one "victim" sits up, looks around at the camera and gets up alive and well. I've seen the same incident shot at two different camera angles so that begs the question just how many are actually at the site and was this all staged.
The EU is more reliably anti Israeli than the Arab league these days.
I don't think it's real to a lot of people raised on video games and violent movies.
They know it's real, but reality isn't exactly colored by the fear of huddling in bomb shelters day after day, or seeing your home destroyed or knowing that the enemy doesn't just want you to stay away from them, they want you and your children dead and your home and your goods to be theirs so they can dance on the ashes of your life.
"The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the IAF hit at least ten targets in Qana. According to the army, the sites targeted were houses occupied by Hezbollah cells that launched Katyusha rockets into Israel in recent days.
The IDF said it had warned residents of Qana to leave and said Hezbollah bore responsibility for using it to fire rockets at Israel.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that Qana was used as a Hezbollah base for launching hundreds of rockets at Israel."

Kiran is a lib, but seems better since becoming a mom. I hope she and Chris are not replaced. I don't care for Gretchen. Her eyes are weird - very distracting.
Oh sageb1-
What a way to put this all in perspective!!!!
A picture IS worth a thousand words...
