Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
has been...Hezzies are entwined with the Lebo Govt....sit in sets of power......As POTUS said...your part of the solution or part of the problem.
GM Ms Peach...keep your head down over there in big sandbox...My boy is home now...for a spell
Agreed. Israel has given people plenty of time to leave; if they don't leave, it's on them if something happens.
Of course CNN and its cronies will try to ignore both the fact
AlJazeera makes the balls and CNN throws them
here are the 3 psalms (83, 130, 142) that the chief rabbi recommended to be prayed daily during the conflict:
Psalm 83
0: A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.
1: O God, do not keep silence; do not hold thy peace or be still, O God!
2: For lo, thy enemies are in tumult; those who hate thee have raised their heads.
3: They lay crafty plans against thy people; they consult together against thy protected ones.
4: They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!"
5: Yea, they conspire with one accord; against thee they make a covenant --
6: the tents of Edom and the Ish'maelites, Moab and the Hagrites,
7: Gebal and Ammon and Am'alek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8: Assyria also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. [Selah]
9: Do to them as thou didst to Mid'ian, as to Sis'era and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10: who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground.
11: Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmun'na,
12: who said, "Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God."
13: O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind.
14: As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15: so do thou pursue them with thy tempest and terrify them with thy hurricane!
16: Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17: Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; let them perish in disgrace.
18: Let them know that thou alone, whose name is the LORD, art the Most High over all the earth.
Psalm 130
0: A Song of Ascents.
1: Out of the depths I cry to thee, O LORD!
2: Lord, hear my voice! Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!
3: If thou, O LORD, shouldst mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand?
4: But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5: I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;
6: my soul waits for the LORD more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
7: O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8: And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
Psalm 142
0: A Maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A Prayer.
1: I cry with my voice to the LORD, with my voice I make supplication to the LORD,
2: I pour out my complaint before him, I tell my trouble before him.
3: When my spirit is faint, thou knowest my way! In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.
4: I look to the right and watch, but there is none who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me, no man cares for me.
5: I cry to thee, O LORD; I say, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.
6: Give heed to my cry; for I am brought very low! Deliver me from my persecutors; for they are too strong for me!
7: Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks to thy name! The righteous will surround me; for thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
(I've been posting them whenever I do a new Prayer request thread, which gets updated when I have new prayer requests to add or modify, sometimes daily, sometimes every couple of days)
Chirac was for the strike before he was against it.
Did anybody just see that on Fox? A shot of Qana -supposedly. EMT's carrying some guy on a stretcher - no blood visible of course, and when they put the stretcher down the guy laid there for a minute and then as the camera panned away, the guy got up and walked away...Hezzie photo op?
Remember Jenin.
Just sayin'
That's good news. The minute they do blink, will be horrific.
This part I do understand: The world always demands that the U.S. "DO" something. No other nation as the backbone to even try.
But, she probably should have come home when Hezbollah refused the conditions for a cease fire. I'm saddened to see her (our) face smack in the middle of the events of this day.
I was afraid of that. This is not just a shooting war, it is also a PR war.

I woke up to Greg Palkot's report this morning, and my first thought was that he'd been sipping at the Kool-aid jug.. Now I'm wondering if there isn't a "minder" just out of camera range....
This is feeling more and more like a "staged" event.....
What? The dead are rising? I missed it reading posts.

FNC: Rice postpones trip to Beruit (smart) and refuses to ask for an immediate ceasefire.
I either need to see big pieces off, or someone checking them with a bayonet, otherwise, I assume they're all playing possum.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Won't do any good in the muslim world.
It's always the US that expected to do something and we always get slapped down for it.
WOW. Remember Jenin, indeed. I hope that video is shown everywhere.
Maybe later than that.
Not even a peep concerning any fighting in those areas yet.
Maybe waiting for the ...oxygen debt...to reach the brain and the rest of the body, neck firmly in fist, yes?
I made that remark prior to reading that Condi wasn't going to make it to Lebanon. Might not be any need for the IDF to hurry. If this plays out like it looks, then that was superb psyops by the Israelis.
I heard former CIA agent Bob Baer on tv (CNN or Fox) before we went out last night. I know he has an agenda, but he said something interesting.
He still has friends in Lebanon after living there so long and one of his friends called him. His friend said he watched Hezbollah move out of their homes the day this started and blended into other neighborhoods and Lebanon and this is why Israel is having a hard time taking them out.
