What you have missed is this: a lot of freepers have thrown in the towel...declared victory for Hezbollah..defeat for the USA and Israel...
My only question is: If they truly believe that..why are they still on this thread? If is is so "over"...then that is usually the time to stop watching, or caring, right?
It just occurred to me, since the "leaders" keep us guessing, maybe this is a good thing.

I agree. I said the same thing in post #1740. This is a chance Israel is giving all the 'civilians'. After that, it's not Israel's problem if they're still there. Not that that will garner them any goodwill from those that already hate them. But it was done for the whole world to see.
Let's go with it. Funny thing.. I was thinking about this the other day...

Well...I did hear Dennis Deconcini a true LIB on Fox News today..and he was saying that if the USA didn't call for an immediate ceasefire (before the Israeli cessation plan)...then the US would "lose all of it's allies in Europe, like Italy, France, Germany"
SO..it is the DEMS also that are putting pressure on BUSH to do this perfectly...and you can count on a LOT of them to blame the deaths in Qana on President Bush tomorrow on Capitol Hill.
